People like you are crazy.... you really don't give a flying f.uck about reliability, it seems all you people do with those computers is gaming. I bet your wife is raising your kids on her own. 😉

sorry but this is an absurd testing setup ... why not install both fans on the AIO? Put it outside that weird case that has too few holes, most people nowadays have better airflow cases

So are these 12th and 13th gen intel processors basically the hottest, and most power consuming cpu's of all time?

It looks like you have an older ibuypower pc case. Does that case not have room in the front for your AIO? Mine has 3x 120mm fans on the front. I even removed the front panel because it is super air restrictive

Got a new rig a day ago with an i7 13700k. Idle Temps were at 50 to 60 degree which is way too high and constant 100 under load.... turns out they forgot to peel of the fucking plastic sticker off of the cold plate😂 now it's 35 on idle and 50-60 when gaming.

USE BOTH FANS on the rad. That's what it is designed for!!!! The idea is to cool the water in the radiator to ultimately cool the cpu. If you want to increase your ventilation in the case then BUY MORE FANS

I have a 13700k as well, the deepcool ls520 is what you want for it at least. The ls720 would be even better if you've got the room for it. That said, you should NEVER EVER use task manager to monitor your cpu speeds with the 12th gen on. Those numbers mean literally nothing. Task manager averages the speed of all cores including the efficiency cores. That's why your speeds are way below 5ghz even when at 2% utilization. Also why they never go above 5 ghz (They actually are). You should be using cpu-z or msi afterburner to get a way more accurate readout per core.

QUESTION !!! Do ANY of the newer cpu cooler's metal plates actually cover the ENTIRE rectangular shape and size of the 1700 chip?????? All the coolers I've seen still have a square shape to the actual plate that covers the cpu........none have been changed to the rectangular shape. Are there portions of the cpu surface itself that do not come in contact with the cooling plate....or does the size of the square plate more than cover the longest side of the cpu ?????????????????? (Not ONE website has raised this question)

You have a random ram stick at the right breaking your dual channel with unmached ram ? With 2 exausts fan and only one intake you probably create a negative air pressure in your case, this is bad for dust accumulating and the ventilation in this case seam to be awful. You put a bigger radiator but you have the same cabability of cooling the radiator with 1 fan. It take just a little bit longer to reach the peak temperature but he as no more capability to get rid of the heat. Its like a car running at idle without a fan, incrasing the size of the radiator will not solve the overheating issue, it will just take a little bit longer to overheat. By the way it's easy to maintain the 13700k under 80c at full load 5.3 with an air cooler (nhd15), a contact frame, nice airflow and a 120mv undervolt. It's cooler than my 10900k in the same case with the same cooler

Why couldn't you use a 280mm iao? You have adequate space in that large tower. Your video was stupid because you started out with a 120mm iao on a 13700k and compared it with a 240mm iao. Then you only have one fan installed on the 240mm aio.

Hi. Your setup in this video uses two exhaust fans. Did you already try to change the aft fan to pull air in? Instead of exhaust. I think you should create a over pressure. In order to cool the radiator.

I've been researching these temps the 13th gen chips produce. I'm going to be upgrading next week to the 13900k. Bit overkill but hey why not. I have seen that these motherboards automatically apply an overclock of sorts that bumps up the watts above what Intel specs the chips. I'll be looking to turn that off and see if temps and performance still remain

Hey have you tried using both fans that came with it to do a push pull on your AIO since you only have one vent at the top of your case? I wonder if it'll help your benchmarks at all if you're still running this setup. I looked carefully to see if having that much would clear bumping into the AIO pump at all and I think it might work out as long as it can also clear your exhaust fan on the side

Changing AIO 120mm to AIO 240mm doesn't make sense if you use 1 fan in 240mm. Only the amount of fluid in the circuit increases, with such mounting, which will not improve the temperature and may only delay throtling.
I have a 13700K and Noctua NH-D15 chromax black in a Fractal Torrent and with the 253W limit, the temperatures do not exceed 90C. Unfortunately, I have a B660 board, so I can't undervolt because I would have even lower temperatures without losing efficiency.

Kraken Z73 is what I have on my i7 13700k, I never go over 90C even on the most demanding benchmarks.
I think a 360mm cooler is what you need especially if you want to overclock this beast.
