How to Upgrade Your Amazon Lightsail Instance / Plan (WordPress)

Hello, I followed your video by creating snapshot then creating instance.. but when I checked the IP address of the new instance an error "503 Service Unavailable" appeared. Is that okay? can I proceed to the next step?

Totally unrelated to this video. I am getting this error on my wordpress "lightsail An automated WordPress update has failed to complete - please attempt the update again now." Lightsail is my host. Any help please?

Very helpful instruction. Only with this, I upgraded my Instances just a moment from now. In addition to your idea about the "Sustainable Zone", it does not increase always as you upgrade your instance. For the $10 & $20 instances, I saw that the sustainable zone is the same which is 20%. learned a new thing that there is a limit to burst capacity you can get. finally upgraded and all working good.

Hello Daniel. How are you! Enjoying the spring snow? Thank you for putting this video together. Always interesting to see actual stats! How do you install your existing site onto your new LightSail instance? Do you have to manually set up your daily snapshots on your new LS instance? It looks like you just attached your existing static IP address to your new LS instance and that was all it took. I am wondering if perhaps there is a cache displaying your site instead of the browser actually hitting your static IP. I thought I saw Cloudflare somewhere in your admin, so maybe there is a cache there somewhere. Thanks for clarifying! -Bob
