Remnant 2 Ultimate Class Guide - Picking The Perfect Starting Archetype

Just got the game free through the PS store deal. Late to the party, but I did everything I had to do to get this unlocked first after starting off with my dog. Now my secondary is the Hunter archetype. Not sure I'll beat the game or anything. It's just something to play while everything is hit and miss in Helldivers II and The First Descendant.

So as a solo player it sounds like handler/medic is the way to go. Excited to jump into this one

This game is amazing i have no clue why it hasnt been talked about more... And it has REAL COOP 10/10 for me way better then any souls game ive played and i played them all yes even elden ring. But if elden ring had real coop it would have been worth playing.. This game is underrated like crazy.

I seen you boasting pretty hard about the handler....has to be the WORST class in the game. I ONLY used it to max out teamwork for my hellfire build....I have NEVER touched it after that. Idc what anyone thinks, that stupid dog was next to useless. Only time it'd run over and pull my dragon heart....is AFTER I was dead.....SO infuriating I can't even begin to describe my hatred for that class

My Hunter Archetype was given different weapons. Blackmaw and Tech 22

The reading of the script sounds so robotic.. don't like it. Comes off very phony and fake.

I got 400 hrs in diablo 4 time for a new game. Might have to get this

I'm playing solo as challenger still with my starting shotgun in world 3. I enjoy it

Is this game better played with KB+M?

What archetype would be good to partner with a handler?

Matchmaking is really badly implemented. You can't revive as a group! If one goes down, you can only revive him at the crystal. If the team wipes, you are unable to wipe as a group. Everybody is dead and you have to leave the session! WTF?
If you play with two,mbecause one slot wasn't filled and a third guy joins later, you have to backtrack to the last crystal with both players! Even Destiny has better matchmaking and that system is already badly implemented. Why no matchmaking as in The Division? It's not simple to use first, but it works flawlessly after a few tries.

I just started this one but im digging it way more than Remnant 1.

I started with Challenger because I wanted to tank, immediately regretted my decision because it's not tanky enough to compensate for the slow movement and problematic melee opponents. Restarted with Handler, and been enjoying it much more (only 2 hours in rn).

Late to the party, but it seems like the more support-oriented archetypes (healer and handler) would make for the best secondary classes, especially if you plan to play solo. Dual archetype does allow for some interesting flexibility; I can imagine people pulling off some insane DPS-oriented builds for team play. The Challenger/Healer combo sounds the most interesting to me, but it'll be interesting to try out other builds as well, see what works and what doesn't.

if you value your time as a human being i would avoid this game.

imagine elden ring but with guns that shoot foam and couch cushions for armor and u have to run through small hallways and everything does AOE and slow and poison and BLAH BLAH crowd control wtf

this game is made for someone to design a bot to beat it gg

I am 81 years old and an average to below average player in destiny 2. Is this type of game suitable for me or would I end up dying all the time? If it is suitable what character would you recommend that would keep me alive longer?

Yall need to let people know you need new gen consoles. They will not be releasing on old gens

Its a shame they nerfed the healing circle range, i used to do letos armor set + ring necklace combo and use the healing circle to face tank everything in the game especially the bosses. I make my friends use healing circle to so when my healing circle is down, they can use their healing circle so that i can continue face tanking until the boss dies hahahaha

Haven't watched the video yet, but I'm hoping there's a viable "mage" class. I tweaked a life-stealing AOE monster of a character in the first Remnant.

With the co-op can you join random peoples games to team up? None of my friends are buying this game and i would like to be able to play as a team of 3

I’ve already decided, a medic with hunter as the subclass, a doctor who uses his anatomical knowledge to heal his enemies and hit his foes right where it hurts most

i pre ordered ultimate 1 month early and i dont have anything ingame from the ultimate pack. didnt get gunslinger not the resources nor the armor. anybody know how to fix this

The gunslinger is a terrible class. Do NOT start the game with this or even buy into it.
It's a worse hunter in every way. No survivability. What good is shooting all of the time or even reloading fast if you can't deal good damage like literally ANYONE ELSE!!!! It hardly works well with anything as a secondary and as a primary you need something else to patch one of gunslingers many holes or needs. It is empty shooting for those who wanna cheap out on an ammo box.
