(Outdated) How to get Active Developer Badge on Discord!

FAQ and important updates! 1. GiveMeBadge has been removed since there is a lot of malware popping up from people taking advantage of Alex's actually functioning givemebadge.exe. I suggest you use the website method only (the video should be cut to only show that method regardless).

Q: It's been 24 hours and I havent gotten the badge!
A: You need to make sure that you have "Use Data to improve Discord" enabled under User Settings > Privacy & Safety. Discord staff said this so if you are having issues, this will help :)

Q: DO I NEED TO DO THIS EVERY 30 DAYS?
A: Nope! That was a mistake from me, sorry. Do this once and you should be good!

Q: I CANNOT SEE THE BOT
A: Just run the /finish command and it should work. The bot is located in your server settings > Integrations and at the bottom it should show your bot.

ive tried to create multiple bots, ive gotten the badge before, but i want my bot in my server, but when i click add it says succesful but it don't join. Ive tried to create even more bots for this, a new server. with the requirements needed. someone help me.

I have a question: I coded my own bot with a simple /hello command, and I'm wondering if I need to host it online for it to be permanently active to get the badge. Otherwise I just run it from Visual Studio Code when I want to do something with it. Does that work?

edit: dont use this trick on a bot that has commands set up. It broke my bot after really hard work for weeks, i am almost in tears right now.
