I bet the kicker was so happy.
ОтветитьAll he had to do was fall on the ball once he had it.
ОтветитьIt’s crazy because at that point you gotta just drop on the ball and cover it. State had no timeouts left and less than 10 seconds on the clock on Michigan’s 40 yard line. They would have to throw a deep Hail Mary with about 7 seconds left or a kick a long field goal. Or maybe run one quick play to get out of bounds and hope for a closer field goal. I’ll never forget being at work and everyone was either cheering or silent. 😂 as a Michigan fan I couldn’t believe wtf I just witnessed.
ОтветитьFirst it was a disaster on how they were in punt formation
ОтветитьAt least U-M got the Natty some years later!
ОтветитьThey had more replays of this, and you can see Watts Jackson literally catches the ball with one hand way over on the outside of his thigh and hip. It was just an incredible lucky talented play that was just meant to be. Harbaugh thought hey we're finally back!
Not so fast my friend!
I'm not sure if Watts Jackson graduated or what he's doing professionally now in 2024, but he can be assured that for the next hundred years or more people are going to be watching this play at the College Football Hall of Fame and of course at the Spartan displays in East lansing. One of the greatest college football endings right up there with of course the Cal Bears and the band.
This was one of the funniest things I've ever seen on TV 😅.
ОтветитьShoutsout all who had to go through this. From this to now national champions, we did it🥲〽️〽️〽️
ОтветитьWhat a way to hit the over
ОтветитьBro was going through puberty during this game
ОтветитьThe punter. Oh my. All he had to do was punt it. No matter how far. Just get rid of it. What is the matter with him? Why do you fumble that?
ОтветитьWho's here before Michigan loses to Washington in the CFP national championship? 😂
ОтветитьJim Harbaugh was looking like "damn its too cold for this BS!" @ .20 mark.
ОтветитьGo Spartans go!
ОтветитьHere right after the Michigan punt returner almost muffed the Rose bowl
ОтветитьDissapointing
Ответитьthis seemed like a very risky call to punt by Michigan, bad things happen on punts somewhat often even in the NFL.. With 10 seconds left and MSU with no timeouts, going for it on 4th down would have burned at least 3 seconds, leaving one play or less to get in FG range. I like those odds better than trusting my punter with a critical punt.
ОтветитьBest moment in the history of this rivalry.
ОтветитьI was at this game even tho we lost it was still a really fun game .
My family didnt leave our seats for 20 mins afterwards
This never stops hurting but 3 straight Big10 championships and three straight CFP appearances and the state of the Spartan program now makes this a distant memory. GO BLUE!!
ОтветитьWhat ever happened to the punter?
ОтветитьI still don't understand why the Michigan punter picked up the ball and immediately shoveled it over to a Michigan State player.
Ответитьthe most improbable win of all time. so crazy. props to MSU
ОтветитьDamn I remember screaming at the top of my lungs at Jalen Watts Jackson to either get out of bounds or go down to stop the clock and set up a GW FG
ОтветитьThis is football. Gave me chills
Ответить😂😅 poor Jim
ОтветитьKirk Herbstreit's voice crack will never not be funny.
ОтветитьGreatest day on earth
ОтветитьOne on the top moments in college football history. Go Bucks.
ОтветитьBeautiful
ОтветитьHonestly, the dropped snap was bad, but the punt protection was AWFUL, they weren’t set up to protects against a full rush
ОтветитьHmmm.. I didn't know college don't have to kick extra points of they're not needed
ОтветитьThis still hurts to watch and I’m not even a Michigan fan
ОтветитьThis. This right here is when michigan had to start cheating.
ОтветитьOnly in college football do you see an unbelievable ending like this
ОтветитьAbsolutely uncalled for in how Michigan fans treated that punter.
ОтветитьI have always thought that this is where you truly see the character of a head coach when the team is in the locker room after a difficult loss like this, where an individual player just truly made the biggest gaffe of his life. How does the coach react. There’s no doubt about it Jim Harbaugh was mad and sick beyond belief that they led the team to the victory and did everything right and what seem like an impossible thing occurred to make it a loss for the entire team. Especially on a play like this. He drops the ball. Just dive on it. You probably win. You go into the locker room and you see how good of a coach has to support the kid as well as post game with the media. . Did they say the team didn’t do enough or did they say they did and one play killed us. I watched Deion Sanders in the locker room after the tight end dropped the pass for Jackson State. He handled that so well. Hugged the kid. Showed him love and support. I was very proud of him. You know that absolutely destroyed Deion and the team.
Yeah, if Michigan scored more points before the end, they wouldn’t have had to worry about it at the end. I get that point nonetheless when a guy messes up this bad, it’s natural for everyone to be upset.
As a UM fan, I knew something was going to happen, but I was thinking block. The way the game had gone up to this point, it felt inevitable. But not this. This has to go down as one of the greatest (if not THE greatest) finishes in college football history. Hail Marys are known to work sometimes, but no one saw this coming. It's right up there with Stanford Cal.
Ответитьguess this why they started cheating . . . . . . . 🤣🤣🤣
Ответитьyou just had to be there
ОтветитьCongratulations to Mark D’Antoni. My understanding is that the surgery went well and he should continue to have a good life. My understanding is they got the lucky golden horseshoe out of his ass without issues. Now I’m gonna go back and watch the fake punt against Brian Kelly and Notre Dame to see another one of his team’s well deserved victories.
ОтветитьGo on through those lines of blue! Watch the points keep growing!!
ОтветитьThere are a lot of bad ways to choke away the game in front of your home crowd...but this has to be the worst!
ОтветитьThere’s a school that’s known to all
Ответить50k People in the Crowd and that 1 unfortunate Michigan Guy gets memed and thumbnailed forever.
ОтветитьBest game ever!
