Great video regarding how to change things, Thanks ! Now, musically, you DEFINITELY want the snare stem to go down ! HH/Ride are the pulse, Voice 1. Kick and Snare are the "balance" of the groove, so Voice 2. They are musically linked so you want the stems to be together. Exception is when HH is played by alternate hands. In this case you gonna write the stem going up.
