Pocari! I don't know if you remember me but finally I'm going to make my first ever fursuit I'm planning on working on it in around 1 month so I can get it done before Halloween! It'll be a siamese calico feline mix! It's actually the character on my pfp! I'm using my cat as a reference for the head shape and stuff but realized from this video the white fur is now going to be gray to keep it easy to clean and ill be posting the finished suit on my finished yt channel too and it'll not be a full but it'll be those half ones and I'll wear a shirt to hide the human bits and yeah since the character is based off of me but boy version and when I'm comfy heading to bed I don't wear pants so it's based off of that! Lol but yeah it'll have LARGE EYES small mouth, short muzzle floor dragging feline tail and BIG FLOPPY ADORABLE EARS and the hat and bow tie will have magnets to take off and on and yeah! It'll be so fuzzy and I'll have very chunky beans and I'll make some little flippy floppys for my feeties so they won't get dirty!

Hearing you talk about the placement of white fur made me think:
“Good thing my fursonas a fox, every spot they said not to make white is gonna be black-“
And I plan to add angel wings, but make them really cartoony, so basically a white felt heart that will have a small clip ;-;

Argument:
I want a black fursuit exactly to be the shadow and spook people. And hey, brighter can look more angelic too.

Most people are watching this cause it’s a Roo video, or they way to commission someone for a fursuit. I just want to learn good designs for the fursuit I’m about to start making LOL

is my fursona maker frendley? this one that im useing is only a head. (i used an online fursona maker for it.)

i have an idea for gradients. If you have an all white fur, and dye it with higher-grade doll hair dye, and blend it like you would traditional paint, could that work? just wondering

Quick question my fursona has a majority of her fury that is a very deep blue probably about the color of your chair would that mix well with cameras normally?

REMEBER TO CONCIDER EYE COLOR! There are so many things to consider with eye color!
1. Darker colors are easier to see through, so if you have dark brown eyes, it'll be easier to see your real eyes.
2. Lighter colors are harder to see through, so if you have white or blue eyes, people won't be able to see you but (if you have black mesh) you can see them.
3. Darker colors usually make the pupils less prominent and (especially in photos) you might just get a black hole effect.
4. Highlights will be less noticeable the lighter your eyes are.
In short, just think about the look you want and make sure not to go too dark, especially with brown and orange.

I love fursuiting. Hope I might meet you and give a suit hug one day. I am always fresh and clean in spite of being a horse. His hooves have long white feathers which are usually dirty no matter what I do but that is ok because real white horse feathers are usually dirty. My long hair tail also picks up leaves and twigs and bits of paper and so forth but that is also realistic for a horse tail. I can put my body and handhooves in the washing machine on low heat and dryer on air dry. I made him myself btw.

Mowhawks, can those be too heavy for a mask, what materials do they use to make flush flippy floppy, webbed mistake that I can lower up and down like a cockatiel, and are they annoying? From ShepardZillah

Careful with extremely short fur..seems is very visible so.. design it into your character if the seems can not be hidden

One of my fursonas: has a lot of white and red (as the accent color) and some black, there name is Bob the rat, and makes cheese.
Another one: ori the Oreo fluff dragon, is black and white-
Another Oc: Lili the goat, has loads of white on her I mean she’s a goat-
Main fursona: IS SKUNK-

Wat about drip patterns? Like slowly flowing water? Cus my fursona has a lot of those and idk how fursuit friendly they r

PLEASE DO BACKGROUND CHECKS ON MAKERS!! I CANNOT TELL YOU THE MISTAKES IVE MADE.

Most important tip: DON’T COPY OTHER’S DESIGNS. Colors are okay, and so are markings, but completely copying a character is WRONG and the creator might not even make the suit!!

If you know the basics of painting then you can get a dino mask and use that for a intricate face can you can actually fur if you’re ready for a whore pain sewing

Taking care of furrsuits is like taking care of a old Mercedes benz s classs w220-w221 when it works its amazing but when it starts breaking it is a pain in the but to fix it it takes time and lots and lots of money
Like a Fursuit when it's new its amazing when it gets older you need time and paicense. Just like a old benz I lernd that with buying a w221 like for cheap by cheap I mean 6000€ and probably 9000€ in car parts.

Is it just me or do Pocari’s ears look adorable when they flip up?

What if I am the maker but I don't know if what I use to make the suit is like, machine washable?

I’ve got a plush charter have you got any maker who are good at making that kind of thing if you do please comment I am a bit weary about it because I’ve gotten scammed before so if you could help please comment ( this will me my first fursona )

I don’t have a fursuit but I have a demonic black, red and gold unicorn oc named Sebastian with huge demon wings so I’ll definitely make the wings optional because of the downside of big wings on fursuits

Black fursuits can get really hot aswell!!

Tip for if you want your main character to be complex but also generally beginner/intermediate fursuit maker friendly is to have an alternate design for the fursuit and a main design that can be as complex as you'd like!

It would have been better in this shot to widen aperture. Iso makes the video more grainy. In a 2d shot like that depth of field isn't a big thing

is bleach good or bad to use on a white suit?

My suit is almost completely blank white, which is super fun for dirt!

My sona is kinda clever desinged!
The markings mostly end on an place who is a sewing or simple to sew in.
I have darkbrown feet soles, even if most of my sona is cream xD
I also have a good desinge to make big eyes and earsvents , so you have great ventilation xD

So happy that even my 13 y.o me planed more than less good :)

Literally in the process of making a nearly all black fursuit. She's a border collie, so white feet paws, white hand paws, white chest (possibly belly,) and a few other white places. But literally mostly black, with white feet, Dun Dun Duhhh!
