So many people try to get this image with full screen passes and dont realize working through the ranges like this is key for ultimate control. reminds me of when I first started rotoscoping with a single spline. one day a guy said "no man, group multiple shapes together" and then it all clicked. Great tutorial, no BS or beating around the bush.. and the finished image is gorgeous.
