Actually the original phrase was “A jack of all trades is a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one.” I believe being versatile is much more valuable that mastering one thing because everything is connected. Also at any point you lose that one thing you are left with no other skills.

I'm a fast learner and I know my limit overtime, and becuase of that I'm always pushing up to my limits and surpasses it, is it okay? But your advice is right and I will follow it, concentrate on one thing, when you're master of it. Let's jump to the other field right?? So I can become a "Jack of all trades master of all." Yes. You will go far in your career if you are the “Master of one” but I think being a Jack of all trades is about pursing your interests and having fun in life. I'm writing a blogpost on this for sure on midasthoughts . wordpress

My problem is, is that they’re all so different. Since I was younger I’ve wanted to be an artist. I drew everyday and I can honestly say I’m pretty good and would love and enjoy art school and becoming a famous artist✨. but then I fell in love with biology, chemistry, anatomy. I watch surgeries, videos, and take AP biology and chemistry in school. I develop a true passion for health care and want to be a NP and that in and of its self is hard enough but I would love it, honestly. Helping people and learning how amazing the human body is 🤯 mind blowing lol. but then I also want to own my own business/restaurant and have many great ideas and think about it often. Like a restaurant on a boat, and no I don’t mean a cruise, cruise has entertainment and you stay for a long period of time. This is just a restaurant. You get on, the boat sails around the coast, doesn’t go far from the mainland, for about an hour while you eat, enjoy the view, talk then you get off, next set of people get on. I’ve searched and I haven’t found one I think it would be such a good idea ☺️. Making my own money and working for myself and all the hard work of perfecting a business that you grew yourself. Love it. And then I want to be a writer, I’m writing a book on wattpad. And just agghhhhh so many thing that I love and want to master and I wouldnt mind doing any of these for the rest of my life. I have passion and love for all of them. Rn I’m 17 and applying for colleges as a nursing major and minoring in art but honestly I’m conflicted. I would LOVE to master all of these to ✨absolute perfection✨ and make a career out of all of them, but it’s probably best to keep some as hobbies. 🥺😭

As a MASTER MECHANIC having to learn A/C,Electrical, and still learning I will say being a jack of all trades is Good because it Keeps the Mind fresh and Learning. That is what the mind loves to do. Knowledge is power

Im 10, I have mastered everything. I could speak 50 languages, had graduated from Oxford and Yale, took Nuclear Physics degrees, Electrical Engineering, and Astromy.
Not just that, I am able to play basketball, football, tennis, ping-pong, karate, taekwondo, etc.
Also great at math, science, linguistic, anthropology, sociology, psychology, and biology.

It is all true, I am proud being a jack of all trade, unlike other peasants, I am great at everything!

what if i just master doing real estate, study as much as i can to it, learn from others and just devote myself to acquiring it. Is that considered a skill? or is it a commitment? and do i still need to master a skill or just stay committed to it, will make things work for me.

My only thing is from the perspective of a regular employee what if you need to do other things your bosses like when you are versatile in case of understaff or somebody called out all I’m saying for somebody in that specialize In one thing but be good at other things so you can pick up slack all my bosses can do this

Leonardo Da Vinci type people don't truly need to waste years of years in one. They can enjoy their interests and talents, while earning needed amount.
