Bro, did his wife leave him for his brother?
ОтветитьSweet fella.
ОтветитьThe kid taking care of his own father like a child is beyond me.
ОтветитьReally hope he doesn't drink again.
ОтветитьDude, we have the exact sober date 8/28/2018.
Hope all is well 🙏
Alcohol isn't a subversive societal issue but a way unto God. Drink is my Lord, my saviour and thus the way back home to The Lord---------God (jesus).
ОтветитьBrad apitt must be like this
ОтветитьThat’s so awful the dad is living with the son. I really feel for him. He’s a great kid and shouldn’t see his dad like that. ♥♥
ОтветитьI can really relate to Dan and his son
ОтветитьI hate alcohol so much! I’m an alcoholic too. I want to stop. Can’t. Not easy. Hope I can quit one day. Sooner then later. Hope anyone in the same boat can quit soon too. It sucks not having control. Best of luck to everyone trying to quit. Hope we all get there soon. F*** Alcohol.
ОтветитьCheers
ОтветитьThe intervention guy was such a professional
ОтветитьI'm glad he's not driving 😢
ОтветитьThe transformation is Unbelievable!!!!...Awesom!!
ОтветитьI don't think I've ever seen a super polite, and happy alcoholic before. "Gosh Golly" got me every time, the pain that guy must of been in, yet he still maintained a little bit of his decency.
ОтветитьFeel for this man and all families effected by alcoholism … like father like son as they say? , my father was also an alcoholic, there’s no way to describe how much pain is in the heart when you can not explain to your father how much you love them and want them to sober up , but can’t..
heartbreaking for sure.
"Um,errah, errah,um, if i had a kid id be fiun."" Sad ,old ,drunk.
ОтветитьWow! He looks like a completely different person sober! Good for him.
ОтветитьMark Walhberg on drugs
ОтветитьOh man, this sounds like my brother & father. Too much pressure on these Canadian kids to make the NHL back in the day.
ОтветитьUnrelated… Dan Jr is so fine. 👀😆
ОтветитьThe sons are kinda cute though they need another daddy?? and canadian accents mmm
ОтветитьNate Diaz is that you?
ОтветитьNate Diaz
ОтветитьIt’s sad when the kids need to become a parent for their parent
ОтветитьGod on ya Dan and my the lord keep you away from the devil's buttermilk
ОтветитьWOW
ОтветитьI drink because of not having a family of my own. Loneliness kills.
ОтветитьIm an alcoholic or maybe a heavy drinker rehab helped alot but i stayed in sober living for 3 years probably would have stayed longer if covid hadn't shut everything down probably would still be sober alcohol gets ahold of people sometimes and im not even the worst alcoholic ive see
ОтветитьGiving me some Nate Diaz vibes, but with alcohol
ОтветитьI wrecked 5 cars . No one ever hurt . Just me . Been to jail . I pulled. A I V. Out of my arm while I in the hospital so I could leave and go.drink . 14 years 3 months . I love ❤️ being. Sober . I love being. Sober
ОтветитьHe ended up being a carbon copy of his father. I hope and pray that an intervention is in his near future because if not he'll take everyone out with him. At some point, when is enough enough.
ОтветитьDrinking is a choice. My oldest brother is dead prematurely because of it. I chose to not drink after joining alcoholics anonymous.
ОтветитьAnd cigarette smoker, he's got the full-blown disease.
ОтветитьBut the alcohol company its in safe place
Ответить1. Have you ever decided to stop drinking for a week or so, but only lasted for a couple of days?
Most of us in AA made all kinds of promises to ourselves and to our families. We could not keep them. Then we came to AA. AA said: “Just try not to drink today.” (If you do not drink today, you cannot get drunk today.)
2. Do you wish people would mind their own business about your drinking– stop telling you what to do?
In AA we do not tell anyone to do anything. We just talk about our own drinking, the trouble we got into, and how we stopped. We will be glad to help you, if you want us to.
3. Have you ever switched from one kind of drink to another in the hope that this would keep you from getting drunk?
We tried all kinds of ways. We made our drinks weak. Or just drank beer. Or we did not drink cocktails. Or only drank on weekends. You name it, we tried it. But if we drank anything with alcohol in it, we usually got drunk eventually.
4. Have you had to have an eye-opener upon awakening during the past year?
Do you need a drink to get started, or to stop shaking? This is a pretty sure sign that you are not drinking “socially.”
5. Do you envy people who can drink without getting into trouble?
At one time or another, most of us have wondered why we were not like most people, who really can take it or leave it.
6. Have you had problems connected with drinking during the past year?
Be honest! Doctors say that if you have a problem with alcohol and keep on drinking, it will get worse – never better. Eventually, you will die, or end up in an institution for the rest of your life. The only hope is to stop drinking.
7. Has your drinking caused trouble at home?
Before we came into AA, most of us said that it was the people or problems at home that made us drink. We could not see that our drinking just made everything worse. It never solved problems anywhere or anytime.
8. Do you ever try to get “extra” drinks at a party because you do not get enough?
Most of us used to have a “few” before we started out if we thought it was going to be that kind of party. And if drinks were not served fast enough, we would go someplace else to get more.
9. Do you tell yourself you can stop drinking any time you want to, even though you keep getting drunk when you don’t mean to?
Many of us kidded ourselves into thinking that we drank because we wanted to. After we came into AA, we found out that once we started to drink, we couldn’t stop.
10. Have you missed days of work or school because of drinking?
Many of us admit now that we “called in sick” lots of times when the truth was that we were hung-over or on a drunk.
11. Do you have “blackouts”?
A “blackout” is when we have been drinking for hours or days which we cannot remember. When we came to AA, we found out that this is a pretty sure sign of alcoholic drinking.
12. Have you ever felt that your life would be better if you did not drink?
Many of us started to drink because drinking made life seem better, at least for a while. By the time we got into AA, we felt trapped. We were drinking to live and living to drink. We were sick and tired of being sick and tired.
Did you answer YES four or more times?
If so, you are probably in trouble with alcohol. We say this because thousands of people in AA have said so for many years. They found out the truth about themselves – the hard way. But again, only you can decide whether you think AA is for you. Try to keep an open mind on the subject.
If the answer is YES, we will be glad to show you how we stopped drinking ourselves. AA does not promise to solve your life’s problems. But we can show you how we are learning to live without drinking “one day at a time”. And when we got rid of alcohol, we found that life became much more manageable.
Dan Jr looks like Kris Bryant
Ответить90 days….. nah
ОтветитьGosh golly was hilarious , but I can’t imagine tryna take care of my dad. This must how it be when my siblings have to take care of me. I love them for when they do but I get heated when they don’t , I understand I put them in situations they don’t want to be in or deal with. I love them for tho regardless cause I know they love me. I wanna go to rehab I just wanna make sure my affairs are in order an when I get out I’m not pretending like im cured cause the last time I wasn’t out for 15mins an I had a beer. I just wanna go to take a break
ОтветитьI drink more than a half gallon a day I’m totally sick
ОтветитьThis is my story, i wish my daughters wouldve reacted like this, but the pain that was caused was a lot. I pray everyday to have an actual relationship with them, i love them so much. If not i still need to stay sober for me, but thats hard somedays, still feel suicidal some days. 2 years sober and counting....
ОтветитьI can’t believe he spent a decade alone, just drinking away the reality of losing his wife and 3 children. So much growing , heartbreak , and change happens in 10 years. He missed so much.
ОтветитьKudos to Dan Jr. for lifting up his dad. I am sure it was very difficult taking care of his father. This was difficult for all of the children.
ОтветитьI'm on my way to stopping my addictions, it's a long hard road, especially without a support system in place. But never say never, believe and we will overcome
ОтветитьForgive me for making light of this video, but their accents are quite pleasant to listen to. I’m guessing Newfoundland?
ОтветитьUž mám litr vodky... Budu blejt... Ale když to vybleju, vystřízlivím...
Musím to vydržet do rána... Dám si placatku a párno...
To bude zase noc...
