Sorry this is only a limited amount of machines. You've got to work with what you've got! Most of these machines can be found in any normal gym (but not guaranteed). If you haven't used these machines before, hopefully this helped you see they're really not that scary. Most of them also have instructions on the machine but don't hesitate to ask someone at your gym

Your section on leg curl machines needs correcting. You’ve erroneously said prone leg curls are done in a lengthened state vs. seated leg curls.
The reverse is true.

This was really helpful, thank you! I'm hypermobile and prone to injury and machines help me stay more or less in the safest position but i'm intimidated about trying to figure out the machines so this was super helpful for my confidence in using the machines

What would one recommend for a starting point for the other leg machines? I do 400 leg press, but I don't want to hurt myself on any of these other machines. Yet, I don't want too light either.

DO NOT DO leg press lika that, you'll seriously hurt your lower back. Don't go all the way down, if you want to go all the way down just do sit-ups where your back can follow it's natural movement instead of being pushed against the seat
Edit: also don't ever use the Smith machine for sit-ups, it makes your back move straight up and down which is a very unnatural movement since your back moves back and forth as you go up and down in a normal sit-up

Whoever set up your microphone needs to be fired. They set the gain way too high and the audio is clipping throughout the entire video.

In my gym hack squat machine has been labeled as leg press. I was always weirded out why am I pushing myself from the plate when it's supposed to be other way around, but now I get it..

I'm super thankful for you mentioning what machines to watch if you have lower back problems. I'm just starting going to the gym and I unfortunately have a history of a bulging disk, so I'm starting off real slow trying to gain that mind muscle connection. Hopefully I can strengthen my back too. (:

My training has always been around body weight and free weight work outs. I wanted to change my routine up with machines but was like "ohhhh so intimidating" - your video helped to put my mind at ease. Compared to trying to get my Olympic lifts perfect, machines seems like a cake walk! Appreciate the walk through!
