This is the best chair I've ever had. This chair supports your back like no other. I work remotely from home and have had back problems for years but since switching to this chair, my back feels so much better. It's so firm yet so comfortable. I love it.

Can anyone advise on a way to sort out the ridiculous backrest hardness? I considered the "skins" but they don't look thick enough to actually significantly add cushioning.

I have the original Titan. The lumbar pillow doesn't stay in a useful place because it has no way of attaching it. Didn't even come with the chair, I had to get one from the Omega.

The adjustable lumbar support is literally a torture device. Does nothing good. Just makes it hurt more.

The seat cushion is firm but I got used to it. The backrest on the other hand is horrifying. It's like leaning on a wooden plank coated in leather.

What I need is a cushion for the backrest. I've tried putting various chair cushions up against it but they're awkwardly shaped and I can't really keep them in place.

Is there any product out there which is more suitable? Something like a plain rectangular slab of padding I could somehow strap onto the backrest of the chair? I've been looking but didn't find anything.

I found myself wondering if I could use a "skin" to force some kind of cushioning pad to stay in place against the backrest but something tells me it wouldn't be easy, plus I don't know where to get the cushioning pad.

WHY THE HELL are Secretlabs not selling a full height backrest cushion!?

I like my 2020 Titan but the seams on the seat pan near your knee split after just 3 years and I've gone through 2 sets of arms rests already...they have a tendency to split along the edges.

Agreed i own omega it most uncomfortable chair ive ever owned and all vinyl starts peeling off within a year ive used 100$ pc chairs that way better vs 900$ chair

I got my Titan 2 years ago (2020 model). Would NEVER buy again. After 30 mins sitting on it every day, my ass is numb. The seat cushion is incredibly uncomfortable and you can actually feel the large metal bar inside it. Garbage, especially for how much it cost.

That Titan lumbar knob is the dubbest shit ever..

I've had the 2022 Titan for almost a year and a half now. It's a beautiful and well constructed chair. I even got the softweave. However, even after this amount of time, it's still super uncomfortable. I would've hoped that it would soften up over time, but it hasn't budged. It's so bad, that I have had bad back pain since I started using it and have gone back to my "falling-apart" POS chair I paid $150 for, before purchasing this. I'm so disappointed in how this chair feels, after saving for this one. Unless SecretLab comes up with some kind of fix for this, I'd stay well away from it.

PSA: Gamer chairs are NOT for:
-prolonged gaming sessions
-good price/performance
-longevity
-comfort
-good posture (supports barely hold in place)

They are good for:
+short racing sessions (2-3hrs)
+regular cleaning (the fabric absorbs everything and you sweat more due to closed design)
+light G-forces (when they hit, you wont fly out the seat. The sides hinder your arm movement)
+looking like a gullible big baby in its toddler car seat

The only reason people buy them is that other people buy them. They have no qualities of a good chair.
People say good things about it because:
-they are incentivised (leave positiv review for extended warranty! Sponsorships! etc.)
-buyers remorse
-never had a comparison to proper chair
-didnt use it for long
-social proof (everyone uses them, so it MUST have some good qualities right? RIGHT!?)
-delusions (dont give in to the voices! A real chair doesnt need accessoires or replacements after 2-3years)

Its a huge scam. Just remember kids: "A Gamer with real meat - would never buy a toddlers seat!"

In a place I worked at we could get a new chair and within a month I'd come in for my shift and the foam was held on by a zip tie. I think they are magnetic for the sake of people that lack object permanence and spacial awareness.

had 2 arm rest replacements, they split. also the loose part, its a section connected by 4 srews. mines actually come off completely. hence looking for videos on putting it back together. i recently bout a psit chair for work, the hight is much better than the titan. the titan is to low for my desk 2020 here

I got both an aeron and a titan, the problem with the aeron is that you MUST sit properly. And that’s not possible for me at all times. I plan to cycle them In and out

My back pain stopped when I got off of my fat arse and started working out. Now I can sit in any chair for extended periods. I also went to school back in the days when the chairs when ergonomics weren't even a thing and I don't remember any of us falling paralyzed onto the floor.

Ordered a chair from them about 5 months ago. They messed up the address from the start and now FedEx has no idea where it is and I've been waiting another month for secret labs to update it. So basically I got to spend almost $700 for a chair in a box to collect dust in a warehouse somewhere for half a year

I totally disagree with this review. My titan 2022 is the worst chair I've ever got a chance to sit on. It is super hard, almost like sitting on a wooden chair. I've already contacted the support and I am sending it back. It is overhyped. My body is actually in pain after sitting on it after a while.

I've been using a 2020 Titan XL since it launched and honestly I wouldn't recommend it. The non-height adjustable lumbar is not in the right place for me so it's useless. In addition to that, there's hardly any cushioning to the back, so it feels like I'm just sitting my back up against a board. The seat cushion broke in enough over time as to not be overly uncomfortable, but at this point I wouldn't buy another Secretlab chair until they improve the padding dramatically.

I have the 2022 soft weave and I have had it for just over a year. I don't know if the squeaking is popular but I don't have that (so far)

Well i upgraded to this chair just assembled it two days ago….. but i was in an old cheap chair…… i wont lie the nerd in me partially bought it for the edition I wanted….. but I plan to do reviews on it…… my arms do not seem to rattle on it so far…… only real complaint are i wish it had morw double stitching and the magnets for the head rest could be like 25% stronger …… but well see over time……. Will i have buyers remorse or will it live a long life….

Thanks mang great review I just bought a 2020 titan in napa leather to replace my og PU titan which was peeling horrifically. I will never buy a PU titan again but I may get a Titan XL in softweave or napa (if napa is ever made available in the new range)

I’m 6,1 now as a 17 year old and I should be 6,3-6,5. I’m building my muscle lately and gaining weight, right now I’m 220 (slightly overweight, losing weight successfully and building muscle well.) is the XL one too much 😂. I’m a thick guy and I’m the type of person who needs an entire row of seats at an airplane. Should I return and get regular? Seriously

One thing that nobody seems to address, including this video, is the backrest angle. Most chairs require you to recline when using them. They simply do not allow you to sit up straight; the backrest will be several inches (or more) away from your back if you do. The tech sheet for this chair claims that it has an 85-165 degree backrest angle, but I cannot see anything which confirms this and this chair is far too expensive to buy one and then find out this claim is false (even if you ignore the cost of the chair, the shipping cost to return the chair would be exorbitant).

Cost cutting with 2022 being the worst ever time since the 30s for recession! Cheap magnets were probably 10p cheaper than the bolts so cut corners and costs everywhere they can! My friends Titan is wrecked! The pu leather is gone pretty much on the base its all cray like fabric whare his legs have been but its all over the base you sit on and it's put me right off buying one! So looking else whare now as its not even 2 years old and destroyed he's not even a gamer just works at home!

The 2020 is one of the taller gaming chairs out there. I also use the roller blade style wheels to protect my floor (and they're SILENT) which also adds almost 3/4" which doesn't sound like a lot but depending on your desk height it makes a big difference. I built my desk so I was able to customize its height but definitely be aware of the height of the chair.

I've had the secretlab omega 2018 softweave for going on 5 years now and it ain't bad! I give it a lot more credit after trying the Logitech Embody which gave me the worst back pain I've ever felt.

I am disappointed in Dxracer I have an Iron Series that is 7 years old!! yup 7 years and the chair is still 100% daily driver in fact its what I watch TV etc in only thing I use. Its shock has been replaced once. Tired of color ha it is orange but I looked and now its a master series ordered, and Hated it!! Sent back I was going for a 2022 evo but your break down here moved me to the 2020. I am 6.1 and my custom built desk is 27' so that extra height is needed

I just got the 2020 titan and I hate it. Super uncomfortable, armrests hurt my forearms after long use. I'm at my desk most of the day because of school and content. My wife has this chair, and I like it a lot more. I'm returning the titan 2022 for this one

I really started to dislike every author promoting this chair . It's hard as rock wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I know - it shouldn't be to comfy and its good for your posture designed by specialists yada yada - not every chair is for everyone and this is definitely not for me when I feel the comfort and relief only when getting off from it. I have also discovered secretlabs return process is the worst ever - they try to discourage you from sending it back .asked me to unpack it to make photos (I have packed it straight away after receiving etc) and I had to exchange 10emails to get approval for return and address of return took about 1.5 week to get address .

Not a bad chair, except the cheap PU vinyl on the armrests does not hold up well. My left armrest started cracking really badly, and they replaced it. A year later and both armrests are in bad shape. So bad I removed them from the chair. Junk! The chair is not comfortable, the ergonomics are not that great. I won't buy another one!
