I studied code for nearly 3 years but then decided to quit for good. Writing code is just not something I want to do for the rest of my life

It's amazing how every video about what this job is, people explain it like they're speaking to a developer. Bringing up concepts and words that a newbie wouldn't understand. Are these videos truly to help people trying to come in the field or is it to impress or prove something to other developers?
