I fear EU is never going to get back to that level again. 2018 FNC had an amazing tournament run…but they ran into peak Rookie and theShy in a meta dominated by solo lane play. As good as Caps was he wasn’t near rookies level yet. Bwipo, understandably, got decimated.

2019 no one had an answer for FPX’s style. Their mid laner was TF as a player and there was no drafting against him because of how unconventional he picked and played. Tian was at his peak and even LWX was at his best, and has never been back to that level. Let alone crisp drawing several support bans all tournament.

Korea falling off some should’ve meant EU had a shot but those two finals combined they were 0-6. LPL came out swinging and hasn’t stopped. It took DWG to be able to take a finals from the LPL but outside of that the past 4 years have been all about the LPL

2017 is better

worlds 2019 was the best worlds for me even though I was SKT fan. The atmosphere EU fans gave to this tournament was gold.
