i hope at the end of the manga, aqua and ruby can be truly happy. aqua, especially, since he will waste his entire life to find and kill his father. i just really wish they can live for themselves one day

the thing that constantly made me sad while watching is that although aqua is strong, intelligent, and hella cool now, his mothers death basically ruined his life. he lost all the joy he had as a child and he became so cold and lifeless, only bent on revenge, willing to use people as tools to get that. i just kept thinking about how he could’ve been so happy in genuine friendships, relationships, and enjoying his life, but that right was stripped away from him the moment ai laid dead with him in her arms. i keep thinking about what he could’ve been and had, and what he is now.

Ruby (Sarina)’s backstory in the manga is that she died from a brain tumour. And when she was 4, she got the brain tumour. And there’s less than 10% of she living 10 years. She had wished to be love by his mother in her whole life. But her mother doesn’t. Her mother left her alone, even on her death day. And the mother instead married another man and had another 2 kids, completely replacing Sarina. And when Sarina (ruby) saw her mother and her new kids the first time after her reincarnation. She broke down. Her mother was smiling, and Sarina had never saw her mother smiled like that before.

No the saddest moments is:when aqua really wants his mom's breast milk but she give aqua her milk but instead gives him bottle milks.

One thing that I love about the Oshi no ko revenge story is that Aqua isn't your typical kid blinded by revenge and only thinks about that. Despite being vengeful, his character never forgets that he's basically what a 40-50 year old man now, who's experiencing life again and cares about people around him
