ОтветитьThis may be the best video for instructions on tying a Four in Hand Knot. I certainly haven't found a better one. Thanks!
Ответитьراقي🥰
Ответитьthank you man
ОтветитьThere are other videos to do it better.
ОтветитьMy mother's then-boyfriend taught me how to make this knot when I was 14.
The only knot I know how to make, except until now, I didn't have a name for it.
(Also, I'm a woman, so that might be a reason... 😉)
Really interesting bit about the history and different claims about the origins for the four hands.
As for the tutorial, if I hadn't already known how to make this knot, then I would definitely have found it helpful.
The video was easy enough to understand, so I'm gonna check if you have tutorials for other knots because it would be nice to know how to tie more knots than just the one. 🙂
The four in hand & Victoria knot is similar to eachother
ОтветитьThe dimple is actually the most difficult part for me
ОтветитьI for one cannot afford a $200 tie, can anyone suggest decent ties for at least ½ that?
ОтветитьYou are completely correct that this is the only knot I learned from my father. However, I thought it was called a half-winsor knot.
ОтветитьHi, can you tell me the knot that King Charles III always uses? Even during the last ceremonies he always used the same knot: very small but very beautiful and elegant ... use a normal tie. knot and what is its name? Many thanks for your kind availability.
ОтветитьThank you so much! I'm a female but needed this for school and i tried so many that I couldn't do and this is the first one that has truly gelped me. Thanks again
ОтветитьDid someone drop you on your head at birth
ОтветитьCan you recommend a tie knot that goes well with a club collar? I am guessing a 4-in-hand knot will work. I just wanted to know your opinion. I also see that a 4-in-hand knot works when using a tie bar.
ОтветитьClassic knowledge never fade, thanks!
ОтветитьHelpful video JESUS LOVES U ALL GOD BLESS
ОтветитьI thought it was called four in hand because it only takes four moves
ОтветитьI'd never actually heard of this knot until about a week ago (because of a "Columbo" episode). The first tie knot I learned was the Half-Windsor, and I always thought it was the simplest knot. I was wrong.
ОтветитьObrigado pela legenda em português ❤️
ОтветитьOh...its a school boy knot, I learnt this in year 7? I'm actually quite surprised that James Bond uses this very basic knot?
ОтветитьMy grand pap taught me that knot. And if you wrap it twice, they call it the Victoria knot.
ОтветитьThe easiest knot
ОтветитьThank you sir.
I had no father who taught me how to tie a tie, your video has been so precious to me.
Best regards.
I love the FIH knot its so easy to do and I teach others that dont know how to tie a tie knot.
ОтветитьMaybe you could name the types of collars? If they do indeed have names.
ОтветитьThere are nicer demonstrations than this one. Time washing.
ОтветитьThank you so much for posting this. I had to attend my sister's funeral service this evening and I had not worn a tie in many years. I followed these instructions and got it perfect the very first time. Your tutorial was excellent and worked like a charm. So thanks!
ОтветитьWhen I was a kid I was told it was called the sailor's knot
ОтветитьSyperb
ОтветитьI really learned how to tie a tie winlor knot.thankyou.from watching your video
ОтветитьI need to learn how to do this
ОтветитьWhy could such an uncomfortable thing like the tie spread worldwide
Ответитьthank you senator rubio
ОтветитьI use this knot since I was a kid, like my father did, I sincerly cannot change this habit, Windsor knot appears to me like an alien in my home !
ОтветитьJust skip to 2.30 to avoid this dude talking about the history.
ОтветитьThanks a lot. I had trouble remembering how to keep the slim end from being longer than the big end. quick fix for me.
ОтветитьThank you!!
ОтветитьI appreciate the history and cultural backdrop story with each of your videos. Gives proper context to why we do what we do......
Ravi Peiris M.D.
You are amazing. I’ve only ever tried Windsor knots. Thank you.
ОтветитьBelieve it or not this is for me the most difficult Knot.
ОтветитьThank you, this video has saved my life. It took me a few thousand tries but I got it. OH MY LORD I FINALLY GOT IT! WITH THIS I SHALL BE A MASTER OF TIE TYING IN AS LITTLE AS 10 THOUUUUSAND YEEAAARS! (No but really, this video helped me immensely. I thank you sir.)
ОтветитьThis is the easiest way to tie a tie
ОтветитьI really like your videos, but the drums in the background are very annoying...
ОтветитьGreat tutorial sir!
ОтветитьAny other knot looks like you swallowed a melon.
ОтветитьI wasn’t sure how to get that dimple. Thanks for the insight.
ОтветитьThis video sucks
ОтветитьLooks like a figure 4, to Me.
ОтветитьIs that lipstick on his mouth?
