I like the Jetson One best, HOWEVER, it is overpriced by 3X, It's price point should not exceed $35K and realistically could be priced around $30K.

Both are very cool and would be fun toys. However... $92,000 for the Jetson 1 is way too expensive and at 215lbs my time flying would be about 13 mins.
As for the Blackfly. Very strange looking but more efficient and more affordable. Personally, I would wait for other so mfg. and for battery technology to improve. Looking for a two seater with a min. of 45 min flight time. Would hope this would be available, in production form, for around 30K.

I would buy neither. The propellers are not shouded. In the event of even a minor loss of control, people could be chopped to pieces. These machines are hideously dangerous.

Jetson is more compact and it looks better, though it lacks wheels which it sould have, I wish it could fly for hours not only 20 minutes like common drones...

Someone explain how you overcome any kind of engine failure due to battery failure or if your system flashes dead? It seems everything relies on this not happening? When in fact electric cars have been known to just loose all power without warning. Unless you are 1000 feet up when failure occurs, a top chute is of no help either. It seems like such a risk to take with battery power and no lift wing.

Actually it costs 192K not 92K. Never listen to these early nonsense predictions of cost. Indeed one can get a real airplane for the cost of this toy.

Why can't it charge as it flys?

Jetson 1 by far is superior in virtually every way.... but the deal breakers are size, and pilot orientation. absolutely hate the tilting body in the BlackFly.... now if the Jetson 1 had retractable underbody gliding wings it could increase efficiency at cruise and stability at other times.

20 minutes, it's amazing how we humans perceive progress in regards to potential of a marketed product given such innovation. As the potential in 20 minutes as a selling point for a EVTOL Craft of notably significant cost, in all realistic & logical terms is quite simply idiotic stupidity! We in this modern day sure are struggling with gusts to handle consequences as a result of realism forming opinions rather than opting for this pointless fantasy of equity, no matter the situation. What products like these need is greatly extended development from concise research to provide innovation that is CAPABLE, plain & simple there has been a great miscommunication when it was believed they were finalized & READY FOR MARKET! Though our civilization sure does thrive on latest trends leading to mass consumption & constant avoidable waste to landfill, foregoing any consideration of condition as the NEW one that is NEWER be the constant concern!!

For extended range why don't they go to a hybrid system? If they would put a small light weight diesel powered generator in the Blackfly it would actually be a useful vehicle. The way both of these vehicles are now they are just very expensive toys.

Neither. We just arent there yet tech wise. And until they figure out how to house those blades, those things aren’t getting anywhere near the public the idea of zipping down to the store forget about it.

Honestly jetsone flight times a little low but if you could bring the charger with you when you land and connect it to a solar powered charger, that may allow you to fly to more places
