Your posts are always interesting. I'm thankful that there is someone who questions things realistically, and goes where the evidence takes them. I'm not particularly religious. I lean toward Buddhism, and am aware of the Sumerian clay tablets. Ancient texts are fascinating. I think our ancestors left messages to guide us, and make us aware of certain things. I think there is more truth to mythology than most people are aware. I've often pondered the question "Where does Jesus fit in with the Annunaki ?". I tend to agree with your interpretations of Jesus in that he was a bit of a rebel. It may very well be that he didn't agree with the teachings of temples and the worship of Gods. I tend to think the churches like to control the narrative to keep the population obedient. You then have to ask the question "Is it a misinterpretation, or a deliberate misrepresentation of facts ?" Anyway, I'm glad that you have enough sense to question things. Thanks for what you do, and what you share with us.

I became afraid of my experiences, even though they were positive, but when things amped up in 2009 I wondered what is going on, I went down a huge rabbit hole of fear and doubt, after 10 years of dark night I tried returning to catholic teachings, but I couldn’t believe Jesus was God. I had had experiences of the divine over my lifetime (70 yrs.) but still didn’t believe . So I decided to watch Rabbi Tovi Singer and study Judaism, that was amazing, I learnt so much. But as much as it spoke to my mind, it didn’t speak to my heart. Mary,Jesus AAMichael and my spirit guides were in my heart, so I returned to being ‘spiritual not religious’, but now I have a little intellectual knowledge as well.

Seems like you’re depersonalizing the Source, so you feel safe disambiguating what was previously worshipped that was inferior to God. Isn’t that giving up on the Qualities of God, and defaulting to our inferior understanding? Replacing Elohim with our own limited understanding, and then tapping the Source for tech and “personal” advancement seems like the definition of circular. 👀🤷🫣🤭Deductive logic would infer we will become our own self-perpetuated extension of the familiar Elohim tragedy. The distant ' god of Tillich ' and the ' god of Plato ' present a ' first cause ' / creator who creates universes ( multiverses ) but does not play a role in human morality / behaviors . But morality is a key factor in our species ultimate success., without which, a society cannot function effectively or optimally ( something that a wise creator god would understand ).

So in other words, does this mean, we are created to be free and free thinking, and thus choose / work out for ourselves, what is good and what is wrong ?

Is there thus, is no place in this Platonic understanding, for a god who punishes humans for the sin of Adam & Eve ( in complete contrast to the Hebrew Torah's depiction of ' God's ' interventions ).

Many would say . . . hooray - finally a faith system is emerging today that understands morality to be the responsibility of humans ( and there are no ' divine ' consequences / retributions ).

But we are then left with a smaller god, who just creates the universe and then what . . enables humanity to evolve and work it all out for themselves as to how to help everyone live well ?

So far, its taken thousands of years and were not there yet ! Will Plato's god ever stand up rather than standing down ? Surely, abandonment or incomplete care cannot be an aspect of this ' beautiful creator ' ?

And finally, speaking of creating things and being a perfect god; surely if a perfect god created humans, childhood cancers would not be an option for ' his ' beloved creation ?

I think there are still many things this ' perfect god ' would need to fix in ' his ' creation, in order to be considered a truly ' good god '.

Until that time, my position remains in the agnostic camp, which I still believe is the only honest position on the existence of a creator ( whether it be Plato's or the Torah's ).

Alternatively, if alien Elohim created homo sapiens from earlier genetic source stock. ( e.g. some earlier hominids ), then our imperfect genetic profiles, would reflect the Elohim's attitude to humans - that they're just bred for work not for perfection. Pual, I want to ask you a question I have not received a clear answer to anywhere, from anybody! The name "Jesus" is a GREEK moniker given to him as being his name! However he was not a Greek, he was a Jew. So...naturally, he would have a HEBREW name. What traditional, orthodox Jewish family, living in Israel, would give their son a Greek name? Our Bible says his name would be called Jesus, True! this is only because the translators of the Greek New Testament did not know his real Hebraic name.
