my rex egg is always too cold/hot, what can i do? When i place it down on the ground outside, the temperature varies every time. I drop it: too cold, pick up and drop it again: too hot. One torch is too hot and one air conditioner is too cold. Help pls.

I got a Question and need help, its about breeding. I completely understand the breeding System and how to do it but.. I always use like x50 multiplier for breeding on the Female Dinos for Rexes etc. so it doesn't take to much time. Am i really forced to boost these stats? Because on normal settings it would take weeks/months to get good Dinos. And from my experience on the Bosses like the Broodmother, you really need Dinos with mutations on meele/health. So is there a way to beat the game on complete legit Settings? I dont get it and i'm desperate

Not sure how many people know this, but try setting a female, that's in the process of maturing, to mate and make sure it's within mating range of your breeding male before it's matured. There is a catch though, will only work with females and only for the first egg/gestation period of said female. You're welcome

A good alternative to feeding babies, especially ones like wyverns or rock drakes that need specialized food items, is to use a daeodon to just keep them from dying. You can hatch a wyvern without needing to KO females for milk this way, so its an easy way to get a good creature really early on the maps where they appear. Just requires heaps of food

Even though one doesn't get 100% imprint, but still gets a smaller percentage, such as 45%, would this still increase the stats of the breeded creature to some degree?

So the point of breeding, is to essentially get stronger creatures. Creatures that would be more powerful then their parents could ever be, if the breeding and imprinting goes all 100% correct.

I'm pretty sure you breed mothers and sons not fathers and daughters. You get a 1 identical male and a bunch of females with the exact same stats and NO mutations then when to get a male with a mutation you swap him out with his dad. Ideally you focus on 1 stat to mutate and keep the others for their colors later. After you get 20 mutations you swap in for a clean male and work on another stat like if you did attack do hp. Then after you have 2 dinos with 20 mutations breed them together. I'm told you can get more then 20 mutations on 1 stat but nobody has properly explained it. I need further research. It's for science not because I like to see dinos bone

Update: they changed the magmasaur food to sulfur with is found in some rocks
