This video has to be credited.
Namely because of the Buckethead style delay demonstrated here.
Which was prevalent around the year 2000 and included Ewan Dobson.
It would be foolish not to subscribe to this informative channel.
I wish you would do this for your BOSS DX100
ОтветитьI fucking love this pedal...the design and sounds are super good to this day.......it is a masterpiece of design.
ОтветитьYes, modern classic, those pedals you don't want to sell...
ОтветитьI have it since 2004. Sounds great with Marshall JCM2000 Tsl 602. S. O.S, modulate, dual and tape are my favourite algos. Great demo!
ОтветитьHonestly, I've had this thing for maybe 13 years now and it is easily the only delay pedal I've ever wanted to use, other than my Quiet Theory Prelude.
I also have a tape echo machine but this is such a fun, versatile, and reliable unit.. I'm never giving it up ever. It will go down as one of the greatest delays of all time.
You are good time rock and roll man to the max😎
ОтветитьJust got one in mint condition box and everything for $170, loving it
ОтветитьGreat video!! I've had one of these on my pedalboard since they came out. A couple of tricks I used are to turn this into a chorus/vibrato (sort of) pedal using the 'modulation delay'. I think Todd mentions this in one of his other videos. My setting the delay to around 15ms and setting the rate and depth controls you can get some usable sounds. I used this for a bit when I scaled down to three pedals; budda wah -> Ibanez TS-9DX -> DD20 with programs set for slab back, medium one repeat, long multi-repeat, chorus, vibrato.
ОтветитьHi Leon, I declare myself a fan of your channel and you band Ragdoll since that I met them (3 weeks ago) Such Rock and roll man!! sincerelly!!. I just want know what is name of tha song that you put in the finish of this video? I send you a hug from Chile
ОтветитьOn this pedal can the axefx3 do most or all of the sounds in it.
ОтветитьI have a question not about this video if that's cool, anyway can I use my axefx3 as an interface to record to my computer into a DAW or should I buy an interface. I was thinking of the Motu m4,it seems to have the least latency of all of the budget interfaces, any thoughts on it
ОтветитьGot one of these used for £100. One of the best pedals I've ever bought! Easily worth it.
ОтветитьSick sounds man. My bandmate used to have one of these and I remember scoffing at it coz it was "just another Boss pedal". But it's definitely a modern classic in it's own right. Still seems to hold it's own these days
ОтветитьIts still my go to delay unit - top mounted jacks, 4 presets plus manual mode, analog dry thru, backlit display that can show bpm or ms, built in or external tap tempo, multiple stereo routing options, no weird power supply requirements and the darn thing can even run on batteries and has a headphone out. You can still find them for cheap on reverb.
Ответитьnever thought i'd hear you'd play rockabilly! - great sounds :)
ОтветитьNothin like some DD’s on a nice 20
ОтветитьI have had a DD-20 since 2007 and it is a nice unit. The only thing that's a bummer is that it can screw with your tone when in bypass mode. The plus side is that the search for a delay unit to solve the tone suck problem lead me to your channel by way of my interest in the Fractal FX8.
ОтветитьLong ago, I was in the market for a dual delay. I kept looking at the Line 6 DL4 (that giant green pedal). Any idea how that compares to the Boss?
ОтветитьWell done and thanks for sharing brother! Be Well Leon and All!
ОтветитьThat thing still sounds good.
ОтветитьDude, is that a Hamer between the LP and Firebird?
ОтветитьAll killer, no filler. As usual Leon. By the way, where's the Atomic Amplify Dial It In Rectifier vid huh? :)
Ответитьcan you try the Hotone Ampero ? :-) i've one .. i am curious what you can pull out from this fantastic device .. thanks ..
ОтветитьA dumb question: can I use the modulation only without any delays if I need? :) Or is the only blended delay effect modulated?
ОтветитьI have never tried one, but would love to. I thought you could have programmed delays? For different delays for different songs.
It sounds great to me..
We live in such a great time for gear. It's almost obscene 😂..
Very cool video..
I still want to see you do a review if the ADA mp1 pedal. I bet they sound great. I've not even seen one for sale except online though, and even then it's slim pickings. 😛
Hope you're safe and well my friend. You and all your family, friends and subscribers as well..
First video wearing a sleeved t-shirt! :)
ОтветитьMy parents got me one of these on my 18th birthday, one if my fave pedals of all time!
ОтветитьHad this on my board for 2 years. Really liked it for its capability and the four presets.
It's a great sounding pedal and built like a tank!
The only drawback was its size for me and since i was only using the analog and tape modes i got a Carbon Copy instead.
