RGB Headers (3-Pin vs 4-Pin)

Yep, ive blown the LED's yesterday because connected the ARGB 3 pins to 4 pin connector, the LEDs are dead but the fans working. :(

Been looking for this for the last 4 days

Can you also please do a video or short on armoury crate this is not detecting my chassis, ram and cpu fan.. for rgb control

I feel like this is done on purpose so that people dissemble their PC and void their warranty due to their products being close to dead initially.

I only have a 4 pin rgb header, can I connect the drgb cable from my case to it (3 pin)

I see a 3 pin black header next to the black 4 pin labelled D-LED and the motherboard website says it’s for addressable LED’s, can I plug my fans into there?

BUT WHY ON YOUR MOBO THEY WRITE RGB HEADER BELOW THE 12V HEADER?!

I plugged that thing into the regular spot but connected to it was another cord that was also 3 pin but without that missing one and it fried that cables but my fans work and they still have light so I got lucky

I need that adapter if I have a 12v Strip RGB? I can't connect directly to the 12V JRGB?

You can plug a 3 pin into a 4 pin or vice verse no problems atall

Yeah, I think I fried my fan LEDs by plugging them into a MSI 12V header (poorly labeled). So pissed, but at least the fans spin up and work. I'll live with it for now.

If you don’t know what a grounder is, it’s basically something that keeps said cable in place.

and the plug is so loose it doesn't stay in and the fans rgb goes white
