maybe PS 6 can run this game 8k 30fps and 4K 60 fps RT on.

Yes id like my game to run at half the fps with sligtly better or the same graphics

People in the comments suck 😂. Im having a great time with rtx on it looks amazing and the frames arent bad at all 30 fps most of the time. I dont get people at all

Looks 10x better on PC... if I compare non RT game and RT game with what I see here, non RT looks really similar to RT but more detail in trees, ground and water and whatnot... with RT turned ON everything looks way was better... This is the exact reason why PC master race games should not be played and or ported to a console... same goes to Cyberpunk... consoles ruin everything (except Gran Turismo, that is the only good PS game that remains exclusive...)

Ok after i finished this game multiple times on my ps4 fat there is no need for 60 fps - i will go for RayTracing mode no matter what :)

Even water physics is lost when activating RT, this implementation is really one of the heaviest ever made, on PC for example when activated as much as possible the game is much superior graphically without general loss of graphic quality.
It's not worth activating on the console and seeing the graphic quality being sacrificed... resolution is even acceptable but water physics, for example, is a very high cost.

60fps performance mode looks and plays WAY better than 30fps (if that) with ray tracing on PS5. Dont waste your time with RT on PS5 with this game unless youre literally walking or stopping to take a photo.

Ray tracing is nice, but is it worth the 30fps lost?

Why cant we have 60 stable fps AND RT on?

As someone who's played this on Xbox One X, PC and now PS5 the most disappointing aspect of the upgrade for me personally is forced dynamic resolution, meaning no true 4K mode which on the One X was present.

I would much prefer to lower certain other visual aspects to retain a consistent 4K resolution instead.

Also I always use the Quality setting on games with a choice. I'm happy with 30fps if it means amazing visuals however I expect a consistent 30, which isn't the case here and again dynamic resolution means a blurry image unless your stood still not moving the camera.

On PC I can tweak the settings perfectly however mines' not as powerful as the PS5 and so I hope they add more graphics options in the future.

RT in gaming is still in Juvenile stage, what we are seeing rn is the glimpse of the upcoming stage in evolution of gaming.

I've got an rtx2060 and it runs like a dog with rt on. Therefore for me the price to have the extra lighting is not worth it in any way. I see what it does and it's more noticeable indoors. Reminds me of phyx, not as in how it looks but what you get extra for the cost. Just not worth it. At least with phyx you could run an old card dedicated

60fps for playthrough, RT for grabbing a pint.

The RT mode makes interior locations look amazing. Often the inside of homes looks horrible on performance. But once RT is on it looks realistically lighted.

But the frame hit isn't worth decent looking interiors. Not when the majority of the game is outside

Turn off rt shadows cause the pop ins getting really often.

I think this is the only game where I might actually have to sacrifice 60 fps for ray tracing.

Feels like I'm at an eye exam, before or after.. again.. 1 or 2.. 3 or 4

Does texture quality change? In Performance mode details look kinda better. Or that is because the resolution drops in rt mode?

Ps5 and series X can’t handle any games in rtx/ graphics mode. Choppy as hell. RTX almost made me throw up the frames are so bad 🤮

this is an RPG game with a lot of Dialogues and very beautiful open world it is not an action or fighting game sure i will choose the Ray tracing mode

With all the PS5 games I don't think I've ever picked anything other than Performance mode.

I’d pay for an RT performance mode like in Miles Morales.

I love the RT mode!! But the performance are so bad on XSX, and it is very buggy... especially in caves, sometimes the hairs almost glow...

The immersion it gives.. it takes it right away with the bugs...

Ray tracing is beautiful, but those frames makeup for it every time.

It looks way better in interiors but it's very subtle anywhere else. Sacrificing half the framerate for it it's a pretty steep tradeoff

This was a nice comparison, I'm leaning more towards RT Off for my personal preference.

I can't decide. Pls help me. RT mode looks so much better in my opinion but the 30 frames are driving me crazy. In Horizon Forbidden West I also played on 30 fps after launch and it felt so much smoother compared to witcher 3 😭

RT really tanking my frames and feels laggy even when hovering at 60fps; i use a rtx 2070 Super at 1080p with DLSS on quality btw
