My female bit me when she got to the end of the carrot I was feeding her. I just assumed it was an accident because my fingers smelled like carrot. Now she likes to nip at my shoes when I go into their enclosure. Both bunnies will run up to me and niff my feet and hands. After a minute or so of wandering around my feet, she'll nip my shoes. Do you have any idea what this means?

Hi my rabbit, my dad said she just put your teeth on you. It doesn’t really hurt though.

I had two bunnies as a kid and one of them was abnormally aggressive. She had huge mood swings and was sweet and cute one moment and aggressive the next. Sometimes she wanted to be cuddled, then she scratched and bit me.
But she wasn't just aggressive towards me. Her main victim was the other bunny. We tried separating them to protect him but man, she was not easy to handle... she was like a cat in a bunny costume.

Haku definitely bites me, I don't know if its fear per se, but he's definitely very unsure of me. It's the early stages, he's only 5 months old and this is the fifth day since he's been here. He's not used to the constant attention or being held. I usually stroke his ears cause it usually calms him and I would try to have him out as often as possible unless I'm at work, other than that I do my best to try to bond with him since it's still pretty early. He laid out yesterday in a pose that's considered a bunny showing off how happy he was. Today he was misbehaving, being mischievous and definitely protesting, kinda like a preteen to me in a way but in bunny form. But we still got time, his life span is 10 years, So I'm hoping with dedication, I can earn his trust before the end of his first year with us.

My rabbit sometimes hops on over and nips on my ankles for attention. My departed lionhead girl would purr and fall asleep while I was petting her, and as soon as I stopped she would wake up and nil at me for more.

I highly disagree with the biting. When I first got my rabbit she was afraid and she bit me because I was transfering her to her cage and it hurt a bit. You could tell it was intentional. But I think they are very capable of accidently biting you or not biting you in order to hurt you. There are times where she was roaming and came up to me and sniffed my hand and lightly bit me. It wasnt to hurt me as she didnt lundge at me or bite down hard it was sort of how a dog bites down softly to see if something is edable. It almost felt like she touched me (thats how light it was). Like I said she also cam up to ME. she wasnt agreesive or scared at any point in the interaction and even layed down beside me right after.

*if you get access to the ear while petting.. gently acknowledge the cartilage if you're too rough they'll let you know😂, but if you have that caress nature to you rabbits love that. tell tell sign you have a good bond.
