What is the reason you have two wrist ⌚ on?

Paid $98 last week on Amazon.
Based on it declared fuel burn I expect it could run on Low for 90 days with a 100 gallon fuel tank?

8kw = 27000 btu

Fun fact, they have these electric fuel pumps that run on 2 D batteries, for 11 dollars at Walmart, better than jumping on your counter.

I'm 62 years old and have spent my life in the electrical and mechanical trades. I don't think I've ever seen a diesel heater like the one in the video. While the video was playing, I went to Amazon and put one in my shopping cart. Second thing I learned, is the "Anderson" connector. I've seen them, used them, but never knew the proper name for them. That's why I watch videos like yours. You can still teach old dogs new things. Thanks!

I use used motor oil. For every gallon of oil, I add 12 oz. of Ethyl gas mixed in. The Ethyl makes it run so much cleaner. I have never had any carb build up what-so-ever.

The battery tender would work you have to hold power to switch it to 12V supply mode...

Your going to need an insulated sleeve to put around that exhaust tube if you use that in a tent. Your little toy battery charger had enough amps to run that thing?

How would you start that if you didn’t have a 12 V power bank like you have does it plug into 110 or how would you put power to it?

Number one / take that green fuel line off and replace it with the clear, ridged type of fuel line ; it flexes with the pump’s pulses and reduces the fuel volume

Number Two : this heater needs about 12 amps to heat up the glow plug and the fan when it is starting up

Number Three : this heater will destroy a lead acid battery in just a few weeks because of its constant 6 amp drain while it is running

Number Four : the heater must run constantly or shut down completely if the room’s temperature gets too hot

I bought several of them and the controller did not match up with the circuit board and the heater would not turn on ?🤷‍♂️
A 8 KW heater will empty a gallon fuel tank in less than 10 hours if you run it on high .

How many square feet is it normally used to heat. Just truck cabs, or would it heat a tiny home, homeless folks living in campe's in Canada. 2000 homeless a year in Canada diedue to freezing to death, starvation, OPP, RCMP, Government abuse.

You have the right heater so You can play with the pump hertz and fan speed with code 1688 to let is burn as clean as possible. There an aftermarket controller called afterburner from australia to play with settings etc.

True... we live in a society of instant gratification, not waiting for the perfect thing at the perfect price...

I don't personally see a use for these except maybe a desperate man without power trying to keep his pipes from freezing which 130.00 would pay for itself in the first use. Possibly heating a couple rooms. As the intake and exhaust are easily manipulated vs Wood stove or trying to run a generator and electric heaters or even forced heaters. The efficiency of these has had my interest though.

I installed a Chinese Diesel heater in my 6x12 cargo trailer conversion... I spent all my effort making sure I properly exhausted the unit through my 1 inch insulated wall using a thru-hull stainless outlet as well as using high-temp RTV around my exhaust hose with high quality hose clamps, and thought everything was great.. I now know that I need to also properly setup a thru-hull port for the combustion intake (away from the exhaust). These devices are primitive.. don't trust that the exhaust flow will happen in one direction with 100% certainty... and don't expect your Home Depot CO detector to save you either.. I've smelled the funky smell, and let it go... and it made me pretty sick.. Don't ignore it... do it right.

...also, if you drop the diesel pump frequency, the exhaust-to-intake leak is even worse... Treat the combustion intake just as important as the exhaust itself.
