Trades people should be As celebrated as anybody else in power
Ответитьhow many hours do you have to work to earn that money???? I want to earn that but in , 40.hrs per week!!!!!
ОтветитьI can make any residential plumbing repair and some commercial...it's difficult to stock all material for both. One thing I can do that most repair shops can't is plumb a house from groundwork to finish... by myself.
ОтветитьIm 27 and started in the trade about 4 months ago and absolutely love it i never thought id like this trade & wish i did this instead of college honestly. I was always nervous that you had to be super
Mechanical, but not as much as i thouht all it really takes is practice. I love it and really enjoy it.
This dude really kept those flex lines, scrub
ОтветитьPlumbing is underrated. Trades will more than likely yield a better return on investment as opposed to majoring in something that isn’t in STEM.
Good on you bud for sticking with your path.
i was a service plumber but the company i worked for was garbage a 40hour week would be about 400$
ОтветитьGrowing up and in HS I worked part time on dairy farms and would go hiking with a few of my teachers, the guidance counselor would be one and I would argue with her forever about the myth that you need to go to college. She never thought about her from first principle. What about the 4 plus years of opportunity cost of not learning and earning? The actual college cost? The increasing amounts of college grads for finite jobs or jobs growing much slower than the new qualified college job seekers. I did go to college for a year took all the classes I actually wanted to learn then dropped out and got the job I wanted without the degree. It's sooo easy now to teach yourself at pretty much zero cost. I studied dairy farm management and worked my way up to manager of one of the largest farms, then fought myself how to be a consultant and got a job that typically requires a master's degree. I have had a few other jobs in Agtech where everyone I worked with has an MBA or PhD for a top 20 college and I can more than hold my own. I make 3x more money than my sibling With an MBA from a top 50 college and the same for my other siblings both with 4 year degrees. My brother has spend 5 plus years in college and spend about $90k and 5 years opportunity cost to have a job that he works 65 hours a week has to physically be there and can't get time off and gets salary of $65k and has to live in a veryyy exspensive area to be close enough to the office. He did exactly what everyone told him and get screwed cuz there are wayyyy too many white collar workers and mark my works AI will put much more pressure on those. Blue collar workers jobs are 10x to 20x harders to automate. I worked as a division manager at a top tech company and they thought it would be easy 🤣🤣🤣 I said the world of atoms is soooo much harder than the world of bytes you will see, and they did eventually learn that and follow my suggestions. We are 20 years out from automating truck drivers fully at least nevermind plumbers or electricians. But accountants and writers, lawyers that's like 2 to 5 years out for the more basic stuff and that's where tech can actually at low cost make it better where as in the physical world the jobs pay less (historically) and are wayyy more exspensive to try to automate. Your pay really boils down to your marginal productivity and the supply and demand for your skill set in that area, degrees don't factor in, only when credentials are required and marginal productivity is high like for doctor's.
ОтветитьWait a second, this guy doesn't have health insurance?
ОтветитьSuch a nice guy!
ОтветитьI live in California Northern California I spent the last 40 years of my life as a master carpenter and plumber no way any of these videos show what it's like to be a commercial plumber trying to make a buck let me drive all over the United States fixed problems that people have no clue about you wanna come do it do it it's not easy but once but once you ** figure it out At least you know critical thinking
ОтветитьService plumbers, or any MEP service techs, doing regular work in peoples houses, making 6 figures, are absolutely, 100% scam artists ripping homeowners off. This is well know across the industry (I am a licensed plumber in NC). These shops are charging criminally overinflated prices for simple work and often selling work that doesn't need to be performed. This isn't about 'knowing your worth' or 'getting what the market can bare', this is straight up highway robbery and fraud due to deception. Homeowners beware, people and companies like Richards are out to rip you off.
ОтветитьWhy do my pipes behind the wall vibrate when I turn on and off the water in the shower? T.I.A.
ОтветитьHii bro I'm a plumber i want a job please help me
ОтветитьI can work for you no problems 🤠✌️👍
Ответитьbefore tax you get 105k
ОтветитьI want to get into trades to make me more of man but I hear from several trades men how it's not worth the long hours, inconsistent work, and the only way to make close to six figures is by doing 12 hour Days
ОтветитьI'm 24 Years old from Greece, Athens.. I got into university Business Management but I dropped out.. now I applied into Plumbing school for next 2 years and I can't wait to learn that trade... I realise that Office job has many disadvantages.. too much stress , responsibilities , and of course I avoided the loans.. Plumbing School is 3k for 2 years and you get more time free to learn a language.
I'm proud that my parents were so much happier when I told them about Plumbing, rather than University...
All my friends have university degrees and they get minimum amount of money.
I’m a master plumber here in san antonio tx , congratulations man ! also when u wear out of running on call and weekends give me a holler! we don’t do on call or work weekends, we’re the new gen of plumbers lol ! seriously
ОтветитьGood pay but u do work hard for it, I can see why some choose the trades instead of college or an office job
ОтветитьGood on him .. Loved having a husband who was a tradie 😎 He was an electrician & loved working for himself . Sadly he died January 2022 .
Ответить👍🤘🤙✊
ОтветитьI'm so proud of him.
ОтветитьI have a deep respect for what you do.
ОтветитьI’m 17 and I’m currently studying biology chemsitry and maths, but I’m planning to take a course on plumbing gas engineering since I have relatives who make 6 figure salaries
ОтветитьGood man you worked hard and deserve every penny of it. Its right about those going to school ticking up big student debts studying for 5 years only to get a piece of paper at then end of it working a 9 to 5 job with a big debt to pay back to the government. Least doing a trades apprentice you get paid to learn and once you pass your apprentice you don't have a student debt to pay like all the rest of people that go the university pathway.
ОтветитьWhy did he put covers on his boots when he go home? IS it simply to not track in dirt or could it be something more harmful?
ОтветитьIn my state a guy can come in with no experience and make 6 figures year 2 no joke
ОтветитьWell he stared at 20.. hes good 👍
ОтветитьI want to be a plumber. how do i work with you
ОтветитьDespite the dip in crypto, I still thank you for the level-headed financial advice. I started forex and crypto investment with $4,345 and since following you for few weeks now, I've gotten $18,539 in my portfolio. Thank so much michelle howard.
ОтветитьLove this
ОтветитьSmart move!
ОтветитьWhy would you put a rheem where a bradford white wqs 🤔🤔🤔🤔
ОтветитьGreat guy!
ОтветитьI’d love to do this for the rest of my life.
ОтветитьI simply can’t leave my corporate job to start out at 45-50k per year. I can’t live off of less than 75-80 because I only have one income. Looks like a much more fulfilling career though.
Ответить105k a year is good money but like he said sometimes you don't eat, you start at 7am and not getting home till 10pm, your working yourself like a dog most days and your basically giving your life away to make money witch I completely understand we all need money to survive but heres the million dollar question isnt there easier ways of making .....?
ОтветитьI'll say this. College should only be for people who want to do some high class engineer/scientist or medical field. There's literally no reason to go to college for anything else. That's why they say 80% of college classes and majority of the majors are pointless. Trades are the way to go.
ОтветитьHe makes as much as someone with GRADUATE DEGREES. He’s SMART. 👩🏽🦱🇺🇸
ОтветитьSounds like a really nice and hardworking man
ОтветитьThis dudes is awesome! I start my apprenticeship next Friday! I cannot wait to start finally providing for my new family without living paycheck by paycheck anymore!
ОтветитьThis is what I call the American Dream. Bravo Sir👏🏻
ОтветитьHis wife got a wagon
ОтветитьPsychology book for 500$ what a scam...the entire history of psychology doesn't worth 500$
ОтветитьI would love to be a Plumber or work with my hands. I love fixing stuff around the house. I went with the college route and got just offered a making a hair over 100k after I finished school. The Technology Field money is too good to pass.
ОтветитьBasically 1 day off, thats rough.
ОтветитьI'm so underpaid its not funny... I do the exact same thing... They make us do water heaters alone. They have us on call 7 days straight going out all night putting in 70+ hours in a week. We do 6-12ft deep drain repipes, water line etc.. I get paid 40k a year wtf.
ОтветитьPlumbing has had a big positive impact on my family's life. Doesn't feel like work when you love what you do. I genuinely enjoy being a plumber and solving problems . He's right our environment is plumbing all the time to others could be end of the world. Respect on you an to all my blue collar brother and sisters . Keep on killing it !
ОтветитьThe only real news cnbc speaks of.
