MTGO Cube Changes Review With The One (of many) BK

I’ve had Squee and Master of Death in my cube for quite a while. You don’t need to lean too hard on graveyard stuff to make it pretty solid. All your looting turns into card advantage.

I don't know about Arena, If they wanted they could have put in Flamekin Village for ages. Although coming into play untapped less it can be used every turn

Love the content but please increase the size of the cards. I don't play anything besides cube and have no idea what the 2000 new cards per year Hasbro prints are. I can't read the cards at all on my phone, but you and BK are almost life sized.

Every time they try the Graveyard thing, they seem to add a lot more all-in payoffs than enablers that can go in multiple decks, so those payoffs get stranded.

A lot of cards that sit in D-tier with better versions---but just happen to involve graveyards---should be includes to make it all meld together, but it's hard to catch many of those when they wouldn't normally be considered for cube. Just a difficult theme to implement fully when it's only for one season.

Amongst all the BKs in the multiverse this one is still my favorite.

Vintage Cube featuring BK Pt 2 and Knuckles

I misunderstood the thumbnail and thought ypu drafted a deck with Valakut, Bazaar of Baghdad, and Vengevine in it. I threw up in my mouth a little.

The graveyard based madness deck can be really strong and it looks like there is some new support to make it better. CalebD has some great examples of some crazy survival + vengevine nasty stuff

really happy with the point you made around 24m about finding the sweet spot number for generically good cards. A while back when the alphafrog cube was on mtgo I loved it because I felt like the number of generically good cards was very high and every pack I was making an interesting decision. When I went back to the normal MTGO cube I found myself opening packs I was just completely unexcited about way more often.

I love these review style videos. Next time you do this kind of review I think it would help to talk about the cards they are removing as well.

Bloodghast is a combo with Wight of the Reliquary for what it’s worth, so I think its stock has gone up with MH3. I’ve been happy with it in my cube.
