I think it would be nice if the rank of each state was noted somewhere in the video, such as by being announced or just written on the picture. It would be easier to keep track of that way.
ОтветитьAs my first name suggests, Britton Hill is definitely bucket list for me. LOL
ОтветитьBeen to the 'pikes' in Del, Tenn, Kansas all without sherpas. Hiked the high Sierras, the Rockies, been to the bottom of Grand Canyon. But I have been to Nepal, hiked in the Himalayas and have a piece of the summit of Mt Everest. Last year I got a rock from the shore of the Dead Sea to put the highest point with the lowest point.
ОтветитьIts crazy mt. Mckinley is over 20,000 ft!
ОтветитьFun fact: Colorado's lowest point is higher than 18 of these.
Ответитьyeah jokes on you nerd, foster is deciding whether or not jerimoth hill gets more recognition
ОтветитьFunny how a lot of these highest points are barely in their respected states. Lol
ОтветитьTurns out to scientists aka geologists consider anything above 1000 ft a mountain which is weird considering I live near the Texas Hill Country in San Antonio and we don’t consider anything peak there a mountain yet most of those hill are between 900 to a lot over 1000. Sorry for the rant but that was news to me
ОтветитьI am in arkansas I live in arkansas I know where mount magazine is.. If you wanna go on vacation you've gotta go there..😂😂😂
ОтветитьThere's a perennial effort to rename Mt. Rainier back to its original name of Mt. Tahoma (or Tacoma). I like Tahoma better than Rainier. Nothing to do with "woke." It just sounds better, and has more local relevance. Renaming Mt. McKinley to Denali was a big improvement.
Ответитьflorida brittin hill .. lol you apparently have never been to the top of the trash dump mountain in ocala fl.
ОтветитьThat's funny, I just climbed Mt. Rogers in Virginia this summer. Strangest thing happened to me on its sister mountain in the Grayson Highlands, just as I summited the very top of the mountain two F-15s strafed me with the afterburners on at high speed. I swear they saw me and did it on purpose but I was actually higher than them and maybe only 100ft away. It was a high point of my entire life I have to say. So random!

ОтветитьI'm not from Kansas. However, you are wrong because Kansas is NOT flat. Some parts are but certainly not all.
ОтветитьBlue Ridge Mountain
ОтветитьI am the highest in PA
ОтветитьMauna Kea is the tallest mountain on the planet, measuring 33,481 from base to summit. How do you not know this?
ОтветитьI thought Colorado had the highest point. Was not expecting California to surpass or even Alaska to be number one for that matter
ОтветитьFun Fact: Mt Whitney has only had the title of highest point of the lower 48 for around 5,600 years, before 3,601 BCE, Mt Rainier held the title as it was actually over 16 thousand ft tall, in 3,601 BCE, it suffered a major summit collapse during an eruptive series which brought it to basically it's current height
And also Mt Hood only had the title of Oregon's highest peak for 7,500 years, it used to be held by the formerly 12,000+ ft tall Mt Mazama, however this volcano produced the largest Eruption of the United States during the Holocene Epoc, and collapsed into what is now Crater Lake
My Katahdin looks son beautiful. I hope I can make time to see it h the is coming up spring.
ОтветитьI am from Virginia, where the elevation is quite low. My dad and I went on a roadtrip from Texas to Nevada. We wanted to explore so we looked around for things to do, seeing a pretty big mountain. It said 13k feet was the highest. I was very sick at the time and going up and down that mountain with my ears feeling like they were going to explode was not fun. But, I did get some great pictures :)
ОтветитьLiving in colorado its intresting that 53 of our mountians are over 14,000 ft
Ответитьkind of fun how the list overall moves northwest. Like the lowest high point is the farther southwest state and the highest is the the farthest northwest (except hawaii is farther west I suppose)
ОтветитьWell at least I learned that Mount McKinley has changed its name. I didn't know that. Next thing theyre gunna tell me Pluto is not a planet
Ответитьidk if im biased but mt rainier is the most beautiful mountain in the US
ОтветитьYou put the wrong picture for Mt. Whitney... that was Mt.Tom!
ОтветитьAsshole..why did you do it from lowest to highest....you should have done it alphabetically ,that way I could have skipped to my state, but doing it lowest to highest, who knows where my state ranks...asshole..........and who cares about florida.
ОтветитьUs here in Alaska are so spoiled! I can see three active volcanoes, all approx 100 miles away, and Mt Denali approx 130 air miles away, and it still looks huge! You down south keep dreaming About Alaska, I live it daily!😳🤣🤪
ОтветитьFor Michigan Mount Arvon is the highest natural point. The actual highest point is the Tilden mine waste pile 21 ft taller than Mt Arvon (currently)
Ответитьthe real high point in mi is kalkaska. if you know, you know
ОтветитьThe new high point in California is called opioid. Some call it oxy, fentanyl, or just simply drug.
ОтветитьI started wheezing when you got above 10,000 feet. It reminded me when I went up Mt. Shasta.
Ответить8,848 meters the highest Mt. Everest in Nepal.
ОтветитьCrazy how Arizona's lowest point is just over 1k feet, and its highest point is over 12k! And Flagstaff has one of the highest elevations in the US.
ОтветитьMount McKinley is an amazing sight...
ОтветитьYou didnt pronounce Guadalupe right
Ответитьoointa mountains??? that is offensive to us utahns

ОтветитьInteresting! I've been to Spruce Knob in West Virginia.
ОтветитьDenali is the most prominent mountain, not 3rd most
ОтветитьHi I watched the video and I really liked it I think you should do this kind of video for Canadian provinces/territories
ОтветитьOf course Kansas’ high point would still be flat.
ОтветитьNow if he did highest points along roads I can say Wyoming has the highest point along I-80 which is between Cheyenne and Laramie. A beautiful area if it isn’t blowing hurricane force winds. My home State.
ОтветитьFlorida = flattest state
Alaska = Bustiest state 🤤
