Refreshing rate in 3d if higher the more density and interlacing is smooth out

Wow, instantly subscribed. But if cinema is 24fps and tv shows are 30fps why are some TVs 50hz

This is well explained, nice vid.
I find this concept confusing though?
If my info is correct;
Originally 24Hz was used in cinema because this was the minimum fps that would trick the human eye into seeing a more natural fluid image, as opposed to a flickery one, because of this the majority of animation is still to this day created at 24 fps.
The Human eye actually sees at 50Hz, but can see some forms of light moving at as fast as 90Hz, but this faster rate is more related to movement in the periphery of their vision.
If the eye sees what is directly in front of it at 50Hz, and 60Hz allows for a minority that may be processing this a tiny bit quicker, why do we need TVs that display at higher than 60Hz, does it really make a difference? I find it hard to believe it does, unless the black frames are there for another reason, like to refresh the light source to prevent blurring etc.?

Most TVs I've seen in the past when panning over a scene, you get this kind of jittery shake. I presume 120 Hz would eliminate this.

try to refrain from saying dumb it down for you it comes off a bit egotistical and can be a bit insulting otherwise good video

I think it depends on the size of TV, if the screen/TV is bigger then its hard to handle all the fast motion so soon in action. Then its necessary to switch it on because eyes can't handle everything happening so soon.. its basically a miss when watching on big screen if not standing/sitting it right distance. Otherwise its ok to switch off on small screens/from far or right viewing distance

Why we just set down the frame rate of the tv to 24fps to match the rate of the movie?
Is that possible?

Tom Cruise, you don't tell me what I can and can't do :D
A lot of this is subjective. You like fake smooth or you don't. I'd prefer movie studios to just go to 50 Hz which is fine for most of the world. It looks better when it's natural speeds.

we all knew way back in 2000 that any monitor under 70hz would be strain for eyes - this claim that refresh rates are ok at 60Hz for TV is bs

You should be proud that you have so less subs and views..well good things are less in the world. Garbage attract flies so this channel is definitely not that.

please do NOT film in 60fps instead of 24. That's a terrible idea. Looks so tacky

I hated the Hobbit when watched it in cinema. I was getting the fast forward sensation a lot of the time on wider angles. I had to ask my wife if she was seeing the same, and she was not. It was my brain. It was like it fast forward a few seconds every now and then, to catch up. Awful sensation. Finally I know why. Thank you.
