I had a non compete order for a cleaning job. I ended up leaving for a different company anyways because they weren’t giving me the raise I deserve. Now I just doing reoccurring side cleaning jobs on the side with my own rate so I’m happy.

My mom worked for Tim hortons and the manager was her friend but more often would get on her case and make her days hell.

At one point, my mom put in her two weeks notice and the manager was on one of her power trip days so my mom pulled her in the back and whipped down her pants and told her to kiss her a** 😂

I once worked on a website development project for a company, and the development team was amazing (still love those people) but the design company had this one jerk who would never give me a straight answer. This one time, in an email chain, he made the mistake of hitting "send all" which included me and basically said I was an idiot. I forwarded it to my manager and his boss, and asked what should I do. Two weeks later, he announced that he was "leaving his position for another job". Did I cause that change? Not sure...but it was sort of funny for the development team.

I'm a retired carpenter, I shut the power off on the entire building once because the iron workers kept disconnecting the cords the drywallers were using and they kept getting stuck with a full sheet over their heads and no power in their screw guns so after telling them to stop 4 times already I went straight to the basement and shut down the entire jobsite!

The plant/factory I work at, as with most bigger places to work at around here, has an actual convenience store in the cafeteria. It’s ok if you need a quick snack for $3 and an energy drink for $4, but the food products are insane. They have these wraps that are half bread and less than half actual food inside and the price has gone up from $5 to fracking $7.50! These wraps don’t even look like it’s a full wrap like a mini tortilla and a tiny bit of food. I can get a dang sub stuffed with food for that price or just a bit more from fracking subway. Like wtf?

I worked in a school for 4 years as an apprentice. There was this one TA that would go out of her way from day 1 to make my life a living hell. From yelling at me for asking someone (not her) to cover me for literally 2 minutes while I ran a small errand to almost getting me fired for something I never did! Anyways we had a "Guess my Favourite Song" quiz among the staff for the last week of term and I submitted the song "Wolf in Sheep's Clothing" by Set it Off (if you've heard the song you'll probably know why). I didn't win the quiz but my prize was knowing she was listening to the song and was trying to figure out who it belonged to (I didn't stick around long enough for her to find out it was mine) Lol.

Before I finsihed my achooling for my main career - I spent eeveral years working in the legal field. Two of the three law offices I worked for completely stocked an entire kitchen/breakroom for the staff. You wanted sometninf specific you wrote it on thr list on the fridge and the secretary would pick it up. One of the perks of a very stressful job.

Gotta love it 😁... I had my petty revenge on my previous work place..... Had been there for years and new power hungry bullying manager who also had little regard to health and safety. Everyone seemed to afraid to stand up to the wrongs and afraid of losing what little benefits we were getting.... note to 'little'.... I left a major negative review through the corporate in shop web page..... It helps being tech savvy geek..... I made mention of this manager, what she was doing wrong, how business can be improved..... That same day I dropped of my resume to another business who knew who I was and how well I work. I was immediately scooped up, and so gave my two weeks notice.....
That manager was not to be seen, possibly let go. And despite not making mention to any past customers, they found out where I am and have stopped going to previous business and are now coming to see me 🤭 LOL

If you have a coworker who steals food, use denatonium benzoate (Bitrex) crystals. Just a tiny amount will turn that heavenly cheesecake or delectable black forest cake, or delicious Reuben sandwich, into a booby trap. It's harmless. It won't cause any allergies like hot pepper or adverse health effects like laxatives, but it tastes horrible. Someone is enjoying the decadent sweetness of dark chocolate sponge cake with dark chocolate frosting, and cherry filling, and just as their mouth gets a full taste of the flavors, the awful miasma of the most bitter substance known to science assaults their taste buds. They involuntarily spit the cake out and rush to the sink in a panic, turning the faucet into their mouth to try to wash away the dreadful bitterness, to no avail. They are unable to eat lunch that day because the horrid taste lingers for hours.

Funny thing, in the states a LOT of companies have employees sign a NDA about salaries. The funny part is that those NDA's are actually illegal, in every state! Under federal labor laws companies cannot prohibit employees from disgussing wages.
My company has been paying employees varied wages for years, finally after our six month "merit" reviews, a few fellow employees started talking about our wages with each other. Some got pretty lousy raises and some got decent raises, the thing was that those who really deserved the good raises didn't get them while newer employees with less experience were getting the higher raises and wages.
I'd been with the company, in a different department about a year more than some of the others on my team and they were upset that I was getting much more in wages than some of them. I had to remind them that I've been with the company longer and because we all work remotely, I also live in a higher COL (cost of living) region. Sure, I hadn't been in that department as long as some who were getting paid less, but I also was upset for them because I actually got a raise that was significantly higher than some of their's.
One of those who had been in the same department longer decided to sue the company because they offered him a promotion but he still wasn't going to be paid as much as I was. I actually gave a statement supporting his claim and he won. I was really happy for him but I know it damaged his reputation at the company. The rest of the team decided to slack off in solidarity with him.
They ended up having to review ALL our wages and gave EVERYONE heafty raises and adjusted wages to compensate for their work.

Years ago, I was hired through a temp agency to work at the problem/customer service hotline, for a major USA shipping company. Every morning we got faxed sheets and had to track down packages. Anyway, I got a weeks "help" from a trainer., who was doing my job before they hired me. There were still a crap ton of things I didn't know. So even though she was training someone else, I had to ask her things. Fast forward a few days in to her training someone else and without notice, asking me anything, or telling me anything she screams, "LEAVE ME ALONE." I look around and everyone is looking at me. I quit 2 weeks later leaving every single piece of paper, that I needed help with, in the folder. She got stuck dealing with all the items she wouldn't help me with. OOOPS. LOL.

I once worked at a company where the boss had his own refrigerator in which kept a case of bottled water. If he noticed a couple of waters missing, he would send a paper memo around reminding everyone not to drink his waters. We figured it cost multiple times what the waters were worth.

I don't know if it counts as petty revenge, but it sure felt good. I worked as a front desk librarian at our towns public library. One day I had a man and his young son come in asking if I could help them find a particular music CD. I helped them look it up and even took them to the shelf where it was at and pulled it out for them. I then left them alone and went back to my post at the front desk. A couple minutes later they checked out a couple of books and left, but they didn't check out the CD I'd helped them find. Since something seemed off, I went over to the spot where that CD belonged only to find that it was gone, no where to be found. Suspicious that they had stolen it, I went to my computer and did a little librarian magic: I added the CD to their library card as if they had checked it out. A couple weeks later the dad comes back in, returns some books and goes to check out some new ones. When I pulled up his account I did my normal schpeal and pointed out that he still had that CD checked out. The look on his surprised Pikachu face! mwah chef's kiss. It was so glorious. He made some excuse about how he'd forgotten he'd checked it out. He seriously thought he'd gotten away scott free. Why steal from a library? I don't get it. Either way, he ended up returning the CD, so I'd say I won.

edit to add: TLDR: The librarian always knows.
