Introducing KeyLab 88 MkII - Controller Supreme

I'd buy this over the NI direct competitor just for the metal chassis. That's a true premium product. Plastic might be lighter but I can't take it seriously. Right now, I'm waiting for the mk3 to come out. Hoping it will have a larger touch display for easier menu navigation. And maybe if I dream hard enough, key lights too.

Please include a sound interface with XLR Stereo outputs in the Mark iii (in black colour). Would be the perfect keyboard! Especially is 73 key weighted version, would be the perfect gigging Keyboard!

Does this piano come with the wooden stand legs?

how is it possible when you play fast the beat also plays fast and when you play slow the beat as well. Can someone explain me how it happens. Thank you

Newbie to MIDI controllers here. Got a question… so if I connect the controller to my laptop and connect an amp to the laptop, will the sound come out of the amp with no latency? Or is there a way to directly plug in the controller to the speaker?

Hi there. Is every sound we’re hearing here from the listed software bundle which comes with this? Or are there other 3rd party sounds being used too? In other words, is that Piano sound from the V collection and all synth/drum sound from the Arturia sound bank?

lots of bling. That's a dream. Then your keybed has issues.

Notice how everything hes playing is super heavy. Action is hideously heavy on this beast. Gotta slam the keys. Then when you play a ballad it has no response. Taking this thing back

Too many reviews about a noisy and mushy key bed. Upgrade to better action (tp40/wood) and I'll pay extra for the improved experience.
Find a way to put the laptop holder closer to the middle. Too awkward looking that far to the right (away from the keyboard) during a performance.
Move faders/knobs to the left, typically control with left hand. Move wheels closer to the keyboard. Move transpose with controller items, get rid of chord button. Like it, but not buying the way it is currently.

This company just wants to suck all the money out of our wallets. I bought the Keylab 88 mk2 midi controller because they boast of the quality of weighted keys and the sound library. well the keyboard bed feels like i'm playing on a bed of cotton no bounce back on keys when trying to articulate something fast. eventually prematurely fatigue hands because I have to forcefully push through. Also the sounds they boast of come with too much reverb and if you want to edit that particular sound to remove the reverb you gotta buy the full sound library that sound belongs to. scam.

i really love this piano. Although its actions are heavy compare to other hammer keys. Purchased one last March and haven't really play with it. Suddenly, one key becomes clicky while playing so I had to bring it back to my dealer, hoping there will be a fix or replacement. Until now no resolution to my issue. Unfortunately for me, there is no stock available for replacement. :( Still hoping though.

I'm SO close to investing in this instrument, it would be PERFECT for my studio, and even my live shows.... there's only ONE thing preventing me from getting it, and that's the FEEL of the weighted keys. I'm finding through recent research, that the "action" on this is REALLY heavy (and I'm not getting any younger, I'm quickly approaching 60). Other than that, for orchestral scoring, editing, and workflow, the options on here are PERFECT. I'll need to try one rigged up in a music store soon to make my ultimate decision.....

What's a decent pedal to use with the Keylab 88 mk2? A stable one which won't move all the time? Close to a real piano pedal?

No stereo, or XLR/line outs...maybe, I'm overthinking this? It's intended to be paired, to your laptop PC of course...so to get, to speaker/pa...direct out of pc, thru usb, to mixer? Thank you in advance, for helping, a feebler minded musician! :-)

I bought the wood legs for my KeyLab88 because I saw them here! I had to order them from overseas and they took forever to arrive but I ordered at the beginning of the pandemic so that makes sense. I’m still happy with them. Worth the wait! I hope they’re more accessible now for anyone interested.

I was watching seaboard rise videos and comparing their advertisements to yours, and I realized just how gimmicky and pretentious Roli was compared to Arturia's. Your videos look far more authentic and with real musicians.
