At the risk of sounding really stupid - am I to understand that these 'cases' do not come with the hardware to run all these games, which is sold separately? Sorry, but I'm just not sure from what I'm hearing.

Mate you are TOTALLY the man. I love this case I had it built fine, i had the reset/on-off scripts install finer but man alive i couldn't for the life of me work out how the cartridge sat 'nicely' on top. I saw the magnet but couldn't dig how it related to anything. Done....easy ...bit embarrassed haha !! thanks for the help.

Too bad they never released that Pi4 case - at least so far - it's been nearly a year. Wonder if the RetroFlag has issues at a business level.

I’d love to see a case with a hybrid design, inspired by many different consoles—capturing the look and feel of retro consoles i general. It would also be awesome if there was a case that use cartridges with individual SD cards inside, either representing each system, or individual games i.e one cartridge for SNES games, one for Megadrive, one for Atari and so on. Or for those who want it, one cartridge for Super Mario World, one for Sonic etc. This way we can get vack the feeling of owning a collection of games😊

Hi eta prime, do you know if the retroflag sfc case works with the Pimoroni Fan Shim? Also, can you install the fan shim software on a retro pi build? If so, it would be great to have a tutorial.

Was there any follow up to this? Still waiting on Retroflag to release a version for Pi 4.

Its a shame they still haven't announced anything, but I'm glad to hear they are working on it.
Mid August 2019 I had emailed them suggesting a GameCube/Wii Pi4 case with full sized HDMI and hopefully enough empty space for a USB to m.2 adapter.

Hey, I know I am a bit late to the party, but could you try to get information about whether they could create an SD-Slot in the cartridge via some extension cable?
It would be great to actually hold the SD inside the cartridge.
I know this could be done DIY style, but it would not be as shiny as if they did it.

Does it have to be a console? I'd actually like to see a miniature arcade case. Kinda like the donkey Kong and Pacman ones from the 80s

I'd love to see a Satellaview case and a SNES-CD case based on the prototype images floating around Google.

I would love a TurboGrafx case mostly because the raspberry pi can handle it fine. I really want a saturn case, but I really want cases that match what systems can play.
A master system case would be nice too.

Love the channel! Your channel alone has helped me in my retro journey! I recently started a Sega Genesis collection & I owned a model 2 when I was younger! I think they would go out of the park with a model 2 case design & the day they do it I’m buying!

The SFC case is really cute, it's spot on and really suits the Pi. I'm awaiting the Pi 4 addition out next year I believe, hopefully sooner but I'd rather wait for the Pi 4 than buy the Pi 3 and this version now.
