The Holy Stone HS600 is hardly a $200 drone....more like $400
ОтветитьFrom my 35 mm Camera days the 50mm lense was sold saying it is closest to the human eye. I fitted my cameras with a 28mm and it had all the peripheral vision aspects as well. What is the angle of these drone cameras? Would it be possible to adapt an external lense to achieve a better field of view like you were really in a cockpit?
ОтветитьWould you do a video on various flight controller apps? That would influence my purchase as I like having a 6 Pack, compass, map locale plus live video. 4k E stabilize seems the optimum camera type but would like user defined settings for Auto Home /RTB say @ x% remaining power. Finally, payload lift amount? I'd love to have it carry an Apple track device as I've seen video where it was MIA. Again, screen options a big point for me
ОтветитьLenses are my big challenge. They all just have crap lenses. Same issue with many cell phone cameras.
ОтветитьAre you in United States? I realize we are one of the few countries that don't use the metric system but... meters? what is that about 3 feet?
ОтветитьI want to buy one but so many snd im so confused help jelp
ОтветитьPls tell me what should i buy, the Cfly faith mini or the bugs 18 pro
Ответитьis it just me who doesnt want to film, i just wanna fly XD
ОтветитьThis is a really good video. I see many vids telling “beginners” to pay $850 for DJI mini2 pro, but that’s such a waste for someone who has never flown, doesn’t know if they’ll enjoy it & isn’t a creator can deduct the cost as business expense. It’s best to learn on a cheap drone & see if u like it. Also I really like the FPV experience a lot more versus my partner who’s in media & has a big licensed drone for video production.
ОтветитьThank you for this review, as I had been looking for a drone. However, a point if I may, what controller is compatible with these drones. I fly fixed wing with a Spektrum transmitter. Are these drones, especially your first listings, compatible, or do I have to purchase another transmitter, or is the transmitter included with the drone? Thanks for your work.
ОтветитьLess than 2 months later and the prices are keeping up with the inflation we have all seen but don't want to admit to.
Pretty much in line with the price of my fast food taco, up 30% in a matter of a weeks. But good video reviews.
Prices seem to be mid $200s or higher now
ОтветитьHi, thanks for your review! I found you doing a search for the Ascend ASC-2680 sold at Costco. Any thoughts on that one?
ОтветитьI'm interested in
1) FPV and free-style / flippy-flops
2) Autonomous Flying (Waypoint, Lua scripting, Return-To-Home)
3) Follow-Me (Sport-Tracking) and Obstacle Avoidance
Any thoughts on these inexpensive drones:
Eachine E520S
Mijia G6 Drone 5G
XKRC x6
K80Max
LS-38 , LSRC-S7S,
S132 Pro, S135 Pro, or S155 Pro
Just found your video today. Great review. The HS600 coupon code doesn't work though.
ОтветитьYou can't trust the site reviews as they don't show the bad reviews.
ОтветитьMy first drone was a Tello and I will say it lacks in video quality and range BUT I hooked up a WiFi extender to boost the signal between the drone and my phone. After setup, just plugged it into a power bank and slipped it in my back pocket and instantly got crystal clear video, photos and range was extremely improved. It's a good upgrade for anyone that goes with that drone. Now i fly a DJI Air 2S and don't have those problems 😂
ОтветитьNow lets get serious. Here is my list. Prices are approx what you should pay. Maybe you can find it for less? Note: I don't know all drones of course.
1. SG108 Pro. $135
2. C-Fly Faith Mini. $175 (under 250 grams)
3. SJRC F11 4k Pro. $185
4. KF 101. $180
5. L800. $135
6. SG906 Pro 2. $160.
All these have a gimbal and SD card slot.
7. S6S. $65 (No stabilized video. No SD card)
8. SG108. $80 ( No stabilized video. No SD card)
9. LSRC XT204. $25. ( Optical flow only. Brushless motors)
On Banggood the Funsnap Diva ($185) and JJRC X12 ($140) are cheap at this moment sept. 2023.
If you go over $200 then consider a DJI Mini or Fimi Mini. Mini drones under 250 grams make sense, less rules. DJI and Fimi are more professional with better apps than all the other 'toy' brands.
Avoid brands like Ruko, Holy Stone, and certainly Exo. Those are just existing models they put their name on pretending to be theirs . You'll be paying too much for 'service' 'warranty' etc.
And be careful of scammers on Amazon asking 3 times the actual prize, or super military drones for $99 like DroneX, Quadair etc!
talking about the Gimbal, one important point you didnt said, that's there're brushless motor gimbal and brush motor gimbal, it's quite different !
ОтветитьGreat review, many thanks. I have Atom SE and I'm very happy but going to 3 axels gimbal. All the best
ОтветитьThe cheaper ones would probably work better than the more expensive ones. I would guess, less crap about signing up for crap on an app and monthly fees before you can even access. I'm going to wait until a cheaper drone comes with its own built in screen on the controller. I'm sick of phone pairing.
ОтветитьIt might be worth mentioning that even though most sold on Amazon cost more but if there's an issue for any reason their return policy is second to none and you only have to wait a couple days instead of weeks or months compared to Banggood. Some are ridiculously higher but some are in the same ballpark cost wise. Not to mention the packaging where Amazon usually ships in a box and is well protected, while Banggood ships in a bag quite a bit and coming from overseas gets tossed around and whatnot leading to broken or bent parts which is never good for a drone. Even if Banggood ships in a box, it still gets tossed around a lot.
ОтветитьThis is one of your videos I've been waiting on 👍
ОтветитьLol, thanks man good stuff.
ОтветитьMany thanks as ever.
ОтветитьBuying any of these (not the tello) just a waste of money
ОтветитьNice review of cheaper drones. My first cheaper drone was a bad experience. On the plus side it did motivate me to buy a better drone. I bought the DJI mini 2se fly more combo. The cost for the drone, insurance,SD card and tax brought the price to 600 dollars. I appreciate all the time you put into reviewing all of the drones on your list. Not every one wants to spend or cannot afford to buy more expensive drones. Your review gives new drone pilots a more budget friendly option to buy a decent drone. Keep up the good work and happy drone flying.
Ответитьused mini 2 is the best for around 200
ОтветитьGreat Video!
ОтветитьIam not good on the sim lol thank you fir the great information
ОтветитьBoa avaliação dos drones. Top. Like registrado.
