Wow. The Oris textured face is very cool. Mad props for their bravery with cool, coloured and textured faces.
ОтветитьIs it just me, or does the Captain Cook and the Super Ocean look very, very similar?
Ответитьi am new to the watch world, and i like the idea of having a nice watch and for me thats 500 -1200 dollar range,so what i did was bought a cheap watch that resembles what i want in a more expensive version ,to see if i actually will wear it before buying the good one. good or bad idea not sure yet. i really enjoy this channel . thanks for all the info!
ОтветитьBB58 for sure (for me)! No questions asked!
ОтветитьYou missed the Bulova MIL-SHIPS !!
ОтветитьI would love to hear what you think of the New Tag Aquaracer. It’s a bolder look, def suitable for ppl with larger wrists but seems like a really good watch for the money, would love to hear about it
ОтветитьThe Omega is stunning…
But why the lollipop hand????????
Have you ever reviewed the Raymond Weil brand of Swiss watches? I have watched hundreds of watch videos and have never seen them mentioned. Any thoughts?
ОтветитьVostok amphibia?
ОтветитьYema!
ОтветитьThe Seiko Captain Willard re-issue is a fine example of Seiko's contempt for their customers. £1,200 for a watch that's distinctly below par. Plagued with poor movements, I've completely lost faith in Seiko and their Omega style management of late. Tragic.
ОтветитьAfter six months of researching luxury divers, reading and watching scores of professional reviews, and many trips to ADs to try them on, I recently purchased a Tudor BB58, black dial on leather strap. I am beyond pleased with it. An incredible watch and a great value for a luxury diver watch with real heritage. Thanks for the great channel!
ОтветитьVery expensive watches (as expected). But what about vostok amphibia, zodiac skin diver, squale, yema superman, ollech & wajs, lip nautic sky?
ОтветитьI am close to buying a Doxa Sub 300. Though a 38 hour power reserve in a Sub 300 is like putting a four cylinder into a Ferrari SF90 Spider. You agree?
ОтветитьWow that Oris with old plastic looks really shitty.
ОтветитьOris' 100m wr is unforgivable though
ОтветитьWhen Teddy says he’s not including microbrands he means they’re not one of the 15 brands gems an authorized dealer of
ОтветитьI thought you were going to mention the new Bulova MIL-SHIPS dive watch. It definitely has design cues from Blancpain's Fifty Fathoms. I would also add the new Tornek Rayville and the Hodinkee released Benrus Type I
ОтветитьI would dump the Tudor from the list. I would buy a Folex from a street vendor before one of those.
ОтветитьTed,what do you think of czapek watches?
ОтветитьNo Ploprof ⌚ ? Not heritage enough ?
ОтветитьRado Captain cook looks sooooo good
ОтветитьWhen you settle in to watch Teddy's Heritage Dive Watches and you're wearing the first one that pops up. Bought the Bulova while considering the DOXA - kinda forgot the DOXA - the Bulova looks great in that colorway, it's my beater now.... keeps great time, as well.... it's big, but that's part of it's appeal....
ОтветитьThe Doxa sub 200 chronograph is awesome 👌 aswell. I would love if Longines brought back the no date version of the Legend diver like they did in the mid 2000s
ОтветитьTudor Pelagos 👍
ОтветитьI love dive watches, what a great video. I always look forward to Teddy's videos, such a vast knowledge of watches.
ОтветитьExcellent list of watches, lots of history and heritage with these brands. For heritage style, definitely a good idea to leave out the microbrands and the new kids on the block who don't have the history. 👍👍
ОтветитьI've been wearing the SPB143 for the last couple of weeks and I think it accidentally became my Grail.
ОтветитьI really like anything from Lorier. Really cool vintage pieces.
ОтветитьDear Teddy, a new subscriber here, but can you please give me or us advice between Seiko Presage (particularly the green one) Vs Junghans (the cheaper options)? Which one is better? Or maybe anyone here can give me inputs? will be highly appreciate it. I am starting to build my watch collection in a bit highly priced watches (for me). I owned Casio watches so far, coz I love vintage. But I am so into simple but expensive look watches (dress watches). Thank you!
Ответитьoris has good value i think
ОтветитьSo ur telling me tht Tag’s are trash 🗑
ОтветитьOris made me feel in love and appreciate and learn about watches.... They are so unique... I went down the rabbit hole... reading about their rich history, just made me respect them even more...
Some people never watched basketball till Jordan or Lebron showed up, some people never watched futbol until Maradona or Messi showed up.. I dident care about watches until I saw an Oris watch.... that's the type of magic it brings...
Check Oris Aquis Clipperton out... its gorgeous.. Or Oris Aquis Date Tungsten !
Ответитьthe inside case back of my new turtle is stamped made in china……and it only tested to 5 bar………which is no where near 200 meters
ОтветитьExcellent list!
ОтветитьI think Seiko 62 mas reissue SPB143 suits this list much better then captain Willard does
ОтветитьRolex Submariner Date 16610 (I've had it since 2002) and the marvellous Tudor BB58 in black or blue for me. Fortunately I'm the proud owner of all three.
ОтветитьLoved the look of the Alpina the first time I saw it, minus the date placement. I still find it odd, but surprisingly find myself warming up to that feature, see it more as a quirky kind of feature. Took some balls to go forward with that design, the easier thing would have been to play it safe. Maybe.
ОтветитьLiked that you brought up the Seamaster 300 but they make a couple of those and although I like the lollipop second hand, the black dial version has a slightly bigger bezel I think. Also I know the super ocean might not have as much heritage but minus the case size on it I think it’s a beautiful watch especially the black dial with the grey bezel
ОтветитьDoxa or bust in my opinion
ОтветитьI got a luxury Heimdalr and turned it into a Willard 😂
ОтветитьPulled the trigger on a used tudor BB after lusting after it since I got into watches about 6 years ago and i couldn't be happier. Such a nice watch for the money (paid about $3k for mine)
ОтветитьOris is junk no reserve power, needs frequent service because of mechanical failure, not accurate
ОтветитьReading the comments.... Thank God Teddy said "I'm not going to talk about microbrands..." 🤪
ОтветитьGood video, thanks. Some watches in there that i wasn't aware of (that Alpina is really nice) and a useful discussion.
ОтветитьCaptain Cook 🤩
