Captain Abridal earned his place in the Imperium of Man's history scrolls. Songs about him ought to be written. A statue in his likeness at the Schola Progenium is definitely in order. Heroes like him are what make the Imperial Navy great

I'm watching this after seeing a video on Harlon space pirate, and I honestly think that the Imperial Navy is so much better. No OP pirate manga crap, just raw human power and strong imperial steel! That bloody pirate stands no chance against this navy!

I like how Abridal's name engraved deeper on the stone than the others.

Imagine what would have happened if Admiral Spire had been the one to sacrifice himself... a much more poignant to BFG 1, but the Imperium would have had stood no chance in BFG2. Unless the scriptwriters pulled one out of their ass and said the explosion threw Spire into the warp as well or some such.

Now that was a nice reveal at the end that the Deciever (C'tan star god) was the one who set Abadon on the path to get the Blackstone fortresses. He probably predicted rightly that it would ultimately with their destruction deprive the galaxy of the only weapon that could slay the C'tan. That was a nice touch. Plans within plans.
