So 3/4 time is really 3/3; there's no indication of the missing 1/4 of a 3/4 time signature.
Ответитьclean and simple explanation, thank you
ОтветитьGreat lesson. Nice voice too!
ОтветитьWhat's with the second 4? If there are three beats per measure in 3/4 time what are there 4 of?
ОтветитьVery helpful thanks!!!
ОтветитьWow!! Thank you so much!!! This was so helpful! I'll definitely remember this with the winnie the pooh song to solidify it in my memory!! Thank you!
ОтветитьThank you so much! I’m 53 and just starting with music and this really helped (the clapping thighs and hands, genius). Thank you again from a learner in Ireland.
ОтветитьI’m so used to 4/4 or as you sad it “common” I recently started making music and I feel like im missing something because there’s like a hundred different time signatures like tf 😭
ОтветитьI found the time signatures had alot of false info for instance there's no difference between 3/4 and 4/4 because 3 times 10 is 30 and 30 times 4 is 120 and 4 times 10 is 40 and 40 times 3 is 120 its just the same tempo you need to use math in it to understand the only difference is that there's 40 times more Bars in 3/4 and only 30 times bars in 4/4 that's just facts
ОтветитьVery simple, good demonstration ❤👃
ОтветитьMama so many love from Nepal and thakyou so much 🙏you are greatest Mama in the world ❤🙏
ОтветитьTy very helpful. I have to remind myself not to do this while driving.
ОтветитьThank you so much i
Ответитьgreat class
ОтветитьWowww, I'm just now realizing that a lot of traditional gospel music that has the stomp, double clap pattern is in 3/4 time! Thank you so much for the Winnie The Pooh example! It was so helpful.
ОтветитьThanks, well done. Could you say the tempo may be same, the difference is where the accented beat falls? One on odd beats, one on even?
ОтветитьI’m stuck with a melody’s time signature. It goes 1234 12345678. Can you help? If I clap it out it works with ⬇️👏 ⬇️👏 ⬇️👏 ⬇️👏 ⬇️👏 . 5 up & downs. It’s baffling me
ОтветитьThis is sooo good
I really struggle with time signatures and rhythm in general, and this was really helpful 💜
I'm so glad I discovered your channel 😊
Really Helpful! Thanks!
ОтветитьReally helpful, thank you.
ОтветитьLauv is 4 time I’m 5 and that’s why my part is better
Ответитьyou are the best!
ОтветитьAve Maria
ОтветитьGreat video! Good job.
ОтветитьVery good. Thanks....
ОтветитьThank you so much ! I really helped me understand A LOT :D
ОтветитьI don't understand .. 😩
Ответитьanother example of a song that changes from 3/4 to 4/4 is A Taste of Honey. thanks to your technique I quickly spotted it!!
ОтветитьAfter watching so many videos, this is the one that finally made things click. That was awesome, I will devour any other video you have on time signatures. Thank you so much!
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьDown votes are from people who clap on 1 and 3!
ОтветитьThank you!
Ответитьthat was a great shoulder bop
Ответитьgreat explanation !
Ответить106 / 5000
What is the difference between a 6/8 measure (60 bpm); or 12/8 (60 bpm); or 3/4 (180 bpm) ??? Please, help me !
Very helpful... thanks
ОтветитьAlmost every Classic Xmas song is in 3/4. One thing I don’t understand is what the 4 in 3/4 means. If each measure is 3 beats, then what’s the 4 represent? I can’t even begin to wrap my head around 5/4.
ОтветитьWinnie the Pooh, you are awesome! Thank you!
ОтветитьYou are so underrated
ОтветитьVery helpful! Thanks
ОтветитьCountry in four quarter time ?!
U listenin‘ to that new junk stuff ?
That ain‘t country !
this really helped for my music exam!
ОтветитьThank you! This helps me understand the difference better than I have imagined!
ОтветитьThank you so much!!
