This brings back all the memories of my first warsteed tutorial. Just learning the difference between the old riding system and the new one. All I was doing was reading text and pressing buttons when told, but this soundtrack really made me feel as if I was doing something EPPPPIIIIIICCCC!!!! It really made the moment.

After entering the Eastemnet from Stangard all those years ago, I thought I was finally going to fond peace in Rohan but then guess what more orcs, but the music more than made up for the clunky horse riding mechanics.

I say, why do I think of How to tame your Dragon with this soundtrack?

The game is the best fan fiction ever made, with attention to details matching all historical events of the book, while adding their own innovations.

This is by far my favourite theme out of all the other Rohan themes.

I really enjoyed this piece... this has some of the western flecks in it.

I'm still "learning to ride" ;)... I'm getting better at steering my war-steed.

Awesome track! I usually put these Rohan soundtracks playing in the backround while I play and I have to say it works very well, gameplay becomes two times more epic.

Yes, something like that would work.. But they aren't doing that..

Then they need to hire more people. I am not gonna go into their ways of picking staff, but it used to be in a way where the raiders would be supreme (and also more people would raid for that reason), and the other people could suck it up... Now they don't do that anymore.

MMO devs actually think with their clocks, limited time to develop content, who do you make it for, the 1-5% player groups, or the 90+% player groups?

That's what I am saying.. But by adding top raiding gear they could still satisfy the casuals... Sadly most game developers think with their wallet...

And to the more dedicated MMO players, you are considered a norm.. But there should be a little extra for the raiders who put so many more hours into it :)

not everyone wants to do raids I play because of love of the story ... not to just grind away

Sadly it's not just me who thinks of LOTRO that way.. Go on the forums and look at all the raiders and more experienced MMO players, they are making it even for everyone instead of giving the good players a little extra.. Which is just sad.

Perhaps you have just gotten so good that no challenging MMO that comes can ever meet your expectations. Food for thought.

Man love the Rohan music, Turbine bring Chance Thomas back :)

They didn't make it insanely hard, that's my point.. It's too easy.. There's no challenge for REAL MMO players.. Which sucks!

Oh yeah, I know what you mean. At least they made it insanely hard and not worth the effort to get the armor by questing, at least for me :p

No good endgame raids for raiders, allowing EVERYONE (even the noobs) to get the best gear by questing.. It's not fair, the best gear should only be available for the good raiders, and now you can buy your way to endgame.. Just not cool...

Those monsters arent scary enough.

Plus there's monsters crawling around everywhere. You don't see so many vicious bears and cackling orcs waddling around in real places, now?

Not all the places in Moria in my opinion! And don't forget, if Moria would have for an example Shireish music it would fit by a long shot! :D

this reminds me of the first time I rode my horse. It was just like this. Now, I feel like a warrior IRL. Epicness.

Say what you want about Rohan expension, it has by far the best soundtrack so far.

2 people fell off their horses and didn't attempt to get back on.

I'm praying they bring back the Hornburg music from War of the Ring, the same they did with the Dwarf and Men themes from there(Since it's the same composer). That stuff was 'Rohan' in a strong way.

I've got to say, the Riders of Rohan music and sound is amazing! I used to play LOTRO a few years back, and when I heard of this expansion I came back. I just came off the game now and my god... Middle-Earth feels alive and magical again. God bless you Chance Thomas. You have brought back my love and joy for Tolkien's beautiful world, expect to see me slaying those orcs in Middle-Earth men. For Rohan! For Edoras!

The only possible way this expansion couldve gotten any better is if they incorporated Helm's Deep. I will lose my mind playing that in a 24 man!
