Seriously? FF X in the 1st place? Excuse me but it's one of the worst games in whole FF franchise imho... FF12 is a lot better, even old FF9, 8 are way better games...

Wow FF12 at Number 7, i like that, see what amazes me a lot about that game is that even tho it faced so many difficulties in development and it was such a bad situation to a point where at that time it was considered the longest development period ever, yet even with all the hardships the game still managed to eart a spot in people's heart because it was just so good.
Which makes you wonder how good it would have been if everything worked out perfectly? I think if things worked well for them at that time. Ff12 would've probably ended up being the best ff ever.

The Action Rpg genre started dominating gaming during this era. Big difference from ps1 top 100 where turn based rpgs were top voted.

Where is the spider-man games?

Is the #1 game the one with a flat, boring combat system, unfairly long and unskippable cutscenes, easy main storyline and hardcore backtracking? I think that FFX is a 10/10 for casual players who get turned on for a cool story. The RPG system is not as deep as Dragon Quest, Fire Emblem or Pokémon. I found it a very average game. The PS2 masterpieces are the Kingdom Hearts, Resident Evil, Silent Hill, Tekken, Devil May Cry and God of War titles. In comparison, FFX is just overpleased and mediocre.
