Sometimes what we charge as designers is a direct reflection of our confidence in all levels.
ОтветитьI charged 1200 for a local contractor. It's going well so far! Hes been happy with everything, and we'll probably work out a monthly retainer.
ОтветитьCurrently I'm doing a $500 project that worth of minimum $10,000 but i had to done because of geolocation 😢😢
ОтветитьI am fairly new with a years worth of website experience, but I have a decent amount of design experience. Here’s the thing… I can’t even seem to land clients for free! They think I’m a scam and I have tried multiple of the “sales” strategies but they still won’t even take me seriously when I offer for free. A lot of other people say build your portfolio for free at the beginning but no one is willing to do that
ОтветитьI charge based on company size. 25% of their marketing budget. I don't ask for the budget, i assume it. Average marketing budget should be about 8 to 12% of annual revenue. A business with several employees should be bringing in at least 300k. So that's 6k to start for a 10 page site. No eCommerce. That's extra.
ОтветитьI'm always scared of loosing cleint whenever I want to charge them. My last project was $300 but the work is much more than price 😢
ОтветитьI'm not getting any client, the last client approached me for a brewing company website in New Zealand and i proposed a $750 for it but they declined and move forward with someone else
ОтветитьI charge 5-10 page websites (Design and Development)
1k-3k $ Only
Hundreds of web design door hangers distributed everywhere for...1 lukewarm lead. Meanwhile, a small number of car service door hangers = phone blowing up. Clearly, web designers aren't desperately needed.
ОтветитьMy recent project I closed a client at $350. I did multiple site integrations too. It's crazy how guys are getting paid north of $1,000.
ОтветитьI created a custom made website that has a headless cms for image gallery and showcasing their upcoming events that leads to their ticket system. For 2k euro, took me a month (could do now quicker + is my first actual project). It also has custom animations added with gsap. How much would've you charged it for @Payton ? Or anyone else? This client was from the Netherlands
ОтветитьI was looking for freelance work and also looking to work with potential freelancers, before you judge me please check out my portfolio and also I am currently working in an IT company as a junior UX designer
Ответить😢 It's crazy that in western countries ppl could charge >$1000 for a company website? I can only around $350 with a goosebump worrying the prospect will seek a cheaper guy
ОтветитьPayton first of all this is not a chatgpt generated comment haha!
I watched most of your videos and you are doing a great job in content but lacking in video editing and we could take that burden off from you and help you get more audience retention and likes.
I charged 1200 for a landscaping site for my friend
ОтветитьI charged $6500 for my last project, $2k on delivery $125/month x 36 months to spread out the the cost for a campground in my area
ОтветитьMy last project was $750. Wayyyy cheaper than it shoulda been in hind sight.
ОтветитьI literally charge 200 dollar for not only designing but also developing a web app with cms and admin controls. 😢 I am still a student so nobody is willing to pay me more. What do I do?
ОтветитьHow its going Payton, what do you recommend the best call to action should be on my web design agency website, a contact form or an embedded calandly link where they can book a call?
ОтветитьAnother insightful video Payton!
Would you say that productizing your design services is an effective way to combat the ambiguity surrounding pricing?
It requires you to consider all the factors you shared and settle on a price, which you can then revisit every 3 or 6 months and readjust as needed.
Subscription based service is good idea to charge client.??? If I give bunch of services to client as a monthly based charge?????
