Beautiful! You don't need to open it. I used a sharp knife to pry a small gap between the metal casing and the plastic. Then I fit 2 very small pieces of paper in the gap. Bingo it works. Over time the pins on the small PC board lost connect. So the paper shim pushes them back. Don't want to waste and buy another mouse/keyboard/... Great help. Thanks. m.
Ответитьmy front part is spoid but I have the board what do I do‽
ОтветитьIt’s Work wooow😂👍
ОтветитьWorked for me, I use it for the Amiga mini. Still has issues with windows 10/11. But this fix worked for me so I could use it with Amiga
Ответитьit helped ! Thanks a lot !
ОтветитьI think the Ebayer I bought my G700 from gave me non-working receiver. It has never been detected nor will it connect. Any idea where to get a compatible one? Thanks.
ОтветитьYup, slipping that sheet of paper in is what does the trick. For anyone reading this, it is WAY harder to get the metal cage back on than the video depicts. If you can get an exacto blade between where the red plastic meets the USB metal, you can probably slip the paper in without needing to take the cage off, saving some fiddling and suffering.
Either way, the video is correct in that most likely the issue with peoples recievers is the lack of padding where the paper is placed. Thanks for documenting this!
why don't they fix the lose connection issue themselves or sell it with a paper in it already? lol
ОтветитьThanks, it help me to rescue a mouse of 249.57 dollars, THANKS!

ОтветитьIs it working for f710 gamepad? I don't ha ve that repeair tool. What should I do then? Thx
ОтветитьWhy so many dislikes?
I've followed your step by step and my nano receptor from Logitech, that was with conection problems, and I was able to recover it.
For those who will follow the step by step, before open the silver part try to put a little piece of paper folded under the conectors. It worked for me.
Thanks buddy!
TQ bro
ОтветитьThe Russian way is better, because I use pliers and I fix fast. I also use recycled toilet paper to clog the hole. No more problem.
ОтветитьHow do we fix a mouse that still on but it doesn't move on the screen??
ОтветитьMe sirvió... ¡Gracias!
ОтветитьThanks for this idea. You allowed me to resurrect my favourite Logitech mouse of all time... the VX Nano, which doesn't use the unifying dongle that newer mice do. A few years ago I lost my dongle and Logitech doesn't sell anything but the unifying replacement any more, but I managed to find a used one on eBay for a reasonable price and got my mouse working again. Unfortunately after about a year of use the replacement dongle just wouldn't be recognized anymore on any computer, so back in the drawer it went and I had to revert to my newer M545, which doesn't fit my hand as well and I miss the wheel detent on/off function by pushing down on the wheel, which the Nano has but the M545 doesn't.
After coming across my Nano in the back of a drawer today I figured I'd bite the bullet and try to find another used dongle, but I came across your video instead. I figured it wouldn't hurt to give it a try, and to my great joy my dongle is working again and I don't have to compromise on my mouse preference any more.
Two things I wanted to point out about your video... first, while you've got things apart take a moment to buff the four contacts with a pink pencil eraser to remove tarnish. Although ostensibly gold-plated, the purity is low and over time they oxidize, increasing electrical resistance and degrading the contact. Second, there is no need to bend open the silver part of the dongle, you can easily slip the folded paper in behind the circuit board when you slide it back in.
Thanks so much bro
Ответитьguuauuu :) no pensé que me iba a funcionar debe venir eso de falla de fabrica mal hay logitech ya lo iba a tirar a la mierda mi teclado y mause :v
ОтветитьBut be careful with ur hands bro
