I am wanting to start growing some sps corals. I always read you need pristine water; no phosphates and no nitrates. You are getting better color with added nitrates?

I am not sure if you can remember back this far but I noticed after you started dosing nitrates your sand turned brown. Did this just go away on it's after a while or did you do anything aobut it?
