For conflict with VUI and MCM
Conflicting UI mods must be installed BEFORE VUI+ unless they recommend otherwise. For example, the MCM must be installed before VUI+ and it must be overwritten by VUI+.

For me it was imposible to install the MCM. Vortex and the versions of the mods have changed and there are a lot of conflicts and no mater what I do I keep getting error messages in game.

So i have UIO and have put the MCM before the VUIP but the message is still popping up when i load up the game, it also now up to 11 file conflicts if that helps

MCM dont want to show it's not conflict but he dont want to show. I have Imersive display.

for some reason when I load into the game it says vanilla UI plus has detected that your game is missing the UIO or you are using a deprecated version please upgrade UIO to the latest version how do I fix this please someone help me

My game says the xNVSE version I have installed is outdated. How can I fix this?

Is all of this still correct to use with the current version of the game?

In the main menu, the Darnified vault head that you see on the bottom left corner of the screen only shows the version of Fallout New Vegas and Darnified UI itself. How do I make it show NVSE and JIP as well?

i know it's old video. i actually like the information on the right of darnified UI but it has been removed as of april 2022, not sure if it is available anyplace else unless you still have and are allowed to share the files

When I was installing the UIs, they ether not worked or kept breaking other mods (namely MCM). Had to take a step from them sadly. Older games, for whatever reason are harder to mod compared to never games..

Where do you find Darnified UI? It isn't on TTW Forums.

To all of the people from 2023 modding. Darnified can be found in Moddb as "Unofficial DarNified UI Update" and doesn't need to install the fonts, is complete. But I can't seem to find the patch for the MCM color menu. Sorry :p

To anyone looking to install these mods, especially the Darnified UI with OHud, DO NOT install the OneHud TTW patch as it will cause the Mod configuration settings not to work and part of your HUD will not appear despite you checking them off as appearing, especially the sneak meter. The file is redundant and not necessary for the mods.

Alright, so I have recently gone back to New Vegas and decided to follow your guide for installation. Everything works fine, however... For some reason, oHUD isn't working. Only some hud elements disappear, and the Pip-Boy doesn't show any text or data. Any ideas???

can someone maybe help me? i've downloaded, installed and enabled mods in Vortex, but my game doesn't look any different. I have "mod configuration" option in the game menu but the only mods I see there are Nevada skies and Just mods. I don't understand what I'm doing wrong :(

Thank you very much for this series. Its getting me through a COVID isolation. The Darnified UI has been removed from the TTW site and the other versions I've found don't work well (the fonts are too large). The Dummy fonts file is also gone from Nexusmods now. Any chance you can offer an alternative?

I love these guys! They spend hours fiddling around with the mods that they feature in their videos trying to get them to work properly! Then they present them as if it were o-so-simple! :D

The Mod Configuration Menu don't detected the NVSE, i try to reinstall the NVSE and xNVSE but nothing... The Mod Configuration Menu say que NVSE is outdated.
I dont know what i do.

I went to download Darnified UI and it says the mod was removed

i'm having problems on VUI+ there is a notice on main menu saying that there is an error. already uninstall and reinstall it still there

It worked for me first time, like a year ago, but now whenever I try to launch fallout with darnified mod - all lines of text become unreadable. They overlap with eachother and they still have vanilla font :/

Edit as of today 8/14/2022 the font for dummies mod that is mentioned for Darnifird UI doesn't exist anymore

As of 7/16/22 "Darnified UI Font Dummies" is no longer available on Nexus Mods.

When i install MCM i get a message saying VanillaUI+ as detected an overwrite error. What should i do ?

If anyone is following along in the guide in June 2022, make sure that any darnUI installation has priority in Vortex over Yukichigai (YUP) files. Otherwise you will have stacking menu buttons.

i installed MCM after VUI+, and set MCM to load before like you said, but instead of only 6 conflicts there are 11. now when i load the game, i get that message from VUI+ about something being wrong, so i'm not sure which of the 11 conflicts are causing the issue. oh well, i'll just disable MCM i guess, this will be my first playthrough anyway.

Seems like things changed after a while. Ohud + darnified + mcm. I can't move a hud part or even tick/untick some boxes for OHUD. It's really tiring but I'd like to play FNV :(
