**Note.... in this already has braided brake lines, in video I say I would upgrade to them. 🤙🤙
ОтветитьThank you!!!! Planning on getting motorcycling sometime soon and this looks like the baby I'll be going for as a first LAMS bike! As something I'll be able to hold onto, modify and love for years to come, it looks juuust perfect. 🔥
ОтветитьNot enough information you keep advising how cheap it is but NEVER provide the cost, also you should provide service intervals and costs, as I believe the valves must be checked every 10k and is mandatory every 12 months regardless off kilometres, no a fuel range provided and I'm not sure how you can CUSTOMISE an inceptor into a scrambler without DOING TOO MUCH , it would likely be cost prohibitive, you mentioned tyres change plus raised suspension but not changing the 2 low hanging chrome exhaust downpipes would be asking for disaster and way too cost prohibitive.
ОтветитьThis is the bike that makes me finally get a motorcycle license.
ОтветитьNegatives are they're heavy and suspension is pretty ordinary.
ОтветитьI think Enfields make sense 2nd hand but not new, at the best part of £7000 a potential buyer would be far better off getting a much higher quality 2nd hand Triumph Street twin which at a couple of years old with a couple of thousand miles on the clock can be had for that price, but if you’re not bothered about your bike being top quality then ok get an Enfield but go 2nd hand and get one for less than £4000.
ОтветитьIf any company would give me a bike like this for 2 weeks, I would say just aaaaall the best best nice things about it too. By the way it is one of my dream bike even if it's not that good as you say. 😊 All the best
Keep riding 👍
I sold my Triumph Rocket 111 2300cc Cruiser to finance my Interceptor MK2. The best purchase decision I ever made. The Rocket only ever made sense on Motorways and fast dual carriageways where as the Interceptor is tremendously capable and fun for every road I ride on. I also used to worry about prospective high bills should anything go wrong engine wise on the Rocket. The interceptor is so simple to maintain that I will be maintaining this bike myself into my old age. Simply brilliant.
ОтветитьI bought one! Only changes will be 1" bar risers and a windscreen.
ОтветитьGreat video thanks for sharing 👍
Ответитьlooking at crossing the world by bike, look at 500x, but at 70yrs old, to big and heavy once all the gear is on, then a Himalayan, would do it, but abit of motorway in Europe, then a RE Contenital l Gt 650, and thanks for your comment re sore wrists and uncomfortable on long ride, so then the Interceptor, which if I can get some hard cases on the back, might be the go,,,,
ОтветитьGreat spill on the bike, told us everything we needed to know, big thumbs up.
Ответитьnice video, for which group of people is this bike intended? live in NL, is not a big city here like London, but there is a lot of highway here
ОтветитьThe truth is if you take your Royal Enfield out in the UK winter, it will corrode at every point on the poor-quality bike, I should know because I bought one last September, its 6 months old and a complete rust bucket, and every nut and bolt, or galvanised part is corroding, don't buy one is my advice, the dealer will throw you under a bus if you try and tell them about this.
ОтветитьGood review 👌👍🥳
Planning to buy allow wheel version.
Thank you. Nice review. But, if you are going to mention price, please at least give a 'round about' figure to drive away. Thumbs up!
ОтветитьSo...what is your 1st bike then
ОтветитьI own the exact same color .. I love it so much.. ♥♥♥
ОтветитьPerfect for off road .
ОтветитьReally thorough review, thank you. I have a Himalayan and absolutely love the styling, but there's no getting around the fact it's underpowered. Interceptor looks to be the solution for me 🙂
ОтветитьYou didn't give the wet weight. when the gas tank is filled it's over 450lbs. That is a substantial weight for a new rider,
ОтветитьI have the same color 😍
ОтветитьWho would track this bike????
ОтветитьI spotted a Beeline on the bars.....absolutely nothing to do with the bike
ОтветитьJust subbed your channel. Very professional presentation. Your a natural! Thanks for your input. I’m torn between a classic 350 and the interceptor.
ОтветитьI'm a yank but i don't hold anything against an Aussie Bloke especially one who has the same "hairstyle" as mine. One thing you missed as far as negatives is one that most concerns me. It is the maintenance schedule that Royal Enfield has on its bikes to maintain the 3 year warranty. The valve adjustment intervals on this bike are excessive. What is the matter with this engine that it needs this to be checked so often. Especially at 300 miles. I think I might be able to do this on my own but would that negate the warranty?
The prices that the shops are charging can be excessive and in no time could eat away at the "bargain price" of the initial bike purchase.
Loved the look of the Continental. Jumped on one in the showroom and realised 57 is not the new 25. I do like the interceptor as well. RE is producing good looking products imo
ОтветитьI actually looked up the price of one of these to a Harley-Davidson Sportster and the sportster, for a previously owned model is about $10,000 more than a brand new Royal Enfield Interceptor 650, which was priced at $4000
ОтветитьTHANK YOU.
GREAT video.
Two questions Please. WHAT do you mean by upgrading the ''air intake''? Do you mean something like replacing the air filter with the K n N air filter??
And WHAT brand of pipes/mufflers would you recommend please?
Thank You Very Much sir.
Regards.
I plan to buy a new bike in the spring, and I've looked at everything in the naked or sport touring category in the 650 to 850 range; MT07/09, Triumph Tiger Sport, CBR650, 700CL/X, SV650, even up to the Tracer 9. Then one day the INT650 came into my scope and honestly I love the looks and the simplicity. Almost certain at this point it's going to be my choice even though I have the budget for a more expensive bike.
Ответитьwhat theres places you can't lane filter- whats the point of riding a moto and not just using the pushie and catching trains.
ОтветитьRoyald enfield had buy you to give good review 😏🤣
ОтветитьOld bike, ugly...and i think not very easy to ride...
Ответитьgood filming. Iagree with the points
ОтветитьI'm 63. I would buy an Interceptor 650 right now, IF it had tubeless tires. I gave up on tube type tires a LONG time ago. I have been stranded over and over by them, paid thousands of $$$ in towing bills because of them, and almost been killed by them a couple of times. No more tube type tires for me ever again.
ОтветитьWhat are good tires in aus for this bike ?
ОтветитьDebating an iron 883 and this bike, and prices on the Harley sportsters have gone up, I’m honestly really lean towards the royal enfield
Ответить3600 miles on, still love it. Only issue, as with the Himalayan I had, I get rear brake screaching at times. Wish they'd just come with better pads like EBC. Local dealer raped me on first 300 mile service too. I could have checked/ adjusted valve clearance and changed oil myself but was concerned about warranty. I guess it's not the dealer's fault though, that's what RE "requires".
ОтветитьKnockout - I want one !!!
ОтветитьI’ve had my classic 350 RE in halcyon grey for about 3 months and absolutely love it and am considering the Continental GT if I can sell my V Strom
ОтветитьIt reminds me of Honda CB 750-4 K2 which is awesome!
ОтветитьWow super
ОтветитьIt’s not so much tires as it is the suspension. That makes a world of a difference too
Ответитьis it a problem motorcycle? hear a lot complains about wobbling..
ОтветитьThoughtful/great review. Thank you.
ОтветитьYep RE have hit the sweet spot now with a Range of lower capacity Bikes that are Reliable, Stylish, Value for money, and Fun to Ride,
I believe they will sell them in spades because there is something for everyone, 👍👍👍
As long as they keep it Simple and value for money & look after their Customers I wish them all the luck in the world,
When I down size I will be looking at A RE 😉
This is not gt interceptor
ОтветитьFound you! You are the star in my favorite pornsite
Ответитьwould you do a review on Braaap Cruise 400cc ?
Ответить
