Truthfully, bath houses are the safest way to do one night pickups, have multiple encounters, or even just meet people. I went to a gay sauna once midweek. It was more low key. All the participants were mostly older, uglier men, and I was the only young guy there. The sauna was dark and creeped me out big time. There was one muscular guy, but I was afraid to speak to him. My diagnosis of autism and the unwritten rule against chit chat made things worse. A middle aged man asked me if I was submissive. At that point, I felt so uneasy, fearful of STDS (condoms don't protect against all STDS), and disappointed with my "options" that I left after only one hour despite paying for 3.
