I was building a calendar type thing in Python as well, and I was tripping all over my code and I threw up my hands and went "you know what I'm just going to ask chatgpt to figure it out" and it did way better than me (I had a silly mistake that I overlooked), and I was worried I was obsolete. Thanks for putting AI into perspective: they are our assistants :)

Nice one! I am Java developer, but in Python I am making helper scripts and with chatGPT and it's really fast. Because I do not want to google how should I create and easy script in Python :) With ChatGPT I have what I need in 5 - 10 minutes.

I would randomize and do different variants of 'Happy birthday' and set an appropriate time range (morning to evening) for sending the message so it doesn't look automated. While automation is great and all, you also got to put the 'human' element into it. Otherwise, you might risk offending people, Tiff! 😅🤣

You are my favorite ex-model but I feel like fully automating a birthday greeting makes it less personal. It's like my father sending me a check for Christmas. No thought put into it. I just have my calendar remind me a week or so before someones birthday so I can send a card.
I've been having fun with GPT but I realize having it create scripts for me isn't helping me learn Python. 😒

ChatGPT helps a lot.
I personally think that as of now it thrives on explaining and helping us understand some stuff (specially for beginners).

I mean, you prompt something to it and it returns to you a very well documented code.

Great video. I think I would have Twilio send me a reminder text — remembering someone’s birthday is a thoughtful gesture and it makes people happy when you remember. So adding that fail safe and sending a personal text seems more genuine hehe. But thanks for the tip! 😊
