I have a friend who watched Fallout then went and played the games in praise of the show, this happened with cyberpunk edgerunners too they have no interest other in series unless it's popular then once it stops they quit.

It wasn't that the show was good as much as so many shows and IPs have been ruined in recent years that expectations are so low a subpar show can seem decent.

I didn’t even watch the show, but I was hoping Todd coward actually played fallout 1 for the first time and decided to make a show based on it to redeem older fans and showcase the story for a larger audience, potentially bring more dynamic to the story, see how the relationships truly looked like between the companions, Ian, Tych and Kajia. This literally would’ve been the best laziest way to make a fallout show…
