KML / KMZ to SHP / Shapefile Conversion in QGIS

i want to do fusion of two different DEM's can u help me do it?

I tried it with someone's qgis, it worked, and doesn't work with mine. Mine doesn't show systen on the encoding.

Garbage output... stuck in a gdb.. need to export as features every. single. time.
