Turn Off Two Factor Authentication in Facebook 2023!! - Howtosolveit

After turn off this teo factor authentication verification I can't log in my Facebook account

Can you please help me? I am trying to turn off two factor authentication for instagram through Facebook but I keep getting a notification that says I have "use new device for a while"..... does anybody know how long for a while is ?

I CANT LOG IN BACK MY ACCOUNT SOMETHING ERROR BECAUSE I TURN OFF THE TWO FACTOR AUTHENTICATION PLS HELP ME BACK

yow..can you help me out here..i just having a trouble signing back after turning off the two factor authentication...i just keep.on reapeting signing in on fb app.

bro i don't know how to thank you but my account was taken by somone because i entered a anonymous link by accident so he put an 2-step authentication so i changed my password and i was still loged in on my phone so thank you so much❤

Howtosolveit you gave me bad advice (Quote: "Tap on forget password and change your facebook password and the 2 factor authentication will be removed"), and Facebook has still required a 6 number code from an Authenticator App, which they do not define.
I can't even get a 6 number code from Facebook via SMS or email.
They have even taken down their old Code Generator.
So, now due to your wrong advice, i have lost contact with my Facebook Account on my last remaining device, my cell phone, and hence all the many Groups that i facilitate as well.
Please don't give this wrong advice to anyone else.

It doesn't ask for a password or give me any other options. It just asks for a code - so I can't access any of the two factor authentication settings. How do I get round this - I want to turn of 2FA so i don't lose access to my account again. It's take me 6 months to get a reset link from FB so i'm super nervous about losing my account again!

After i turn off the two factor authentication. I can acces my fb right now.
