Very helpful. Thank you
Ответитьcan some one help me I was having a good time with the tutorial and I have recorded so many clips everything was going right until i bought some new IEMS I was using headphone earlier so my port for the headphone changed and everything went downhill from there I changed the output and it did not went as it was planned and then when I recorded the clips today my friends audio was in my game audio
ОтветитьYeah this didn't help at all. The programs can't be heard in the sound panel, there's no button to set the devices.
Ответитьi did all of this and imported it to my editing software (capcut) and it said "unrecognized track waveform". does that mean its impossible to work for capcut?
Ответитьsuper helpful thank you sir
ОтветитьI can’t see both tracks in Filmora is it not capable of this method
ОтветитьThank you so much! This knowledge will literally save me hours upon hours of editing time. I've been hunting for a way to be able to record in OBS and have each individual audio source on a separate track.
Ответитьnot working
still 1 video recorded
Thanks so much! this was very helpful!
ОтветитьHi, I have a question.
A lot of times I play in VR and my headset has a separate Speaker device (HTC Vive Pro)
If I do the multi-track setup to have Discord and my game audio on a separate track, and set it to listen and output to my VR headset's speakers, will I have to re-configure it when I unplug the headset, exit SteamVR, and/or plug it back in?
its works for mic and discord but i dont have desktop audio for some reason
ОтветитьThe problem with this method is that everytime you boot up OBS you gotta change your playback to Cable Imput, and the problem with that is that you can't manually change the audio of the speakers without changing the playback, so it's really confusing :/
ОтветитьI've been trying this for hours watching every tutorial on this but OBS just WON'T record my computer audio when I do this! I try moving the recording to an editing software and it only has my recorded audio of my voice, none of the computer audio!! I go into the actual recording and listen to it and it's the EXACT same thing, it only records my voice!!! I don't GET what's going wrong! Please if ANYONE has ANYTHING for me to try then tell me. I'd greatly appreciate it.
Ответить2022 still works thx man everytime i have problem i just come back here and reset everthing
ОтветитьHuge thanks!
ОтветитьStraight to the point and very informative. Thanks Broski
ОтветитьBoy it would’ve been great if you got to the freaking point
ОтветитьThanks helped a lot :D
ОтветитьIf you have a GoXLR you'll be able to record separate tracks because the GOXLR creates different audio sources.
THANKS for all the tips! This really helped me out a lot because I was having issues with game audio being too loud and mic audio being too low and not being able to bump it up.
Thank you SOOOOO much, this really helped me!!!!!!!!
ОтветитьEXCELLENT this is exactly what i was looking for... I do a 1hr slot on a local internet radio station and my co-host is over skype... so I want to eq our voices separately, this does exactly that... record mkv and demux to mp4, into premiere pro and do my thing... Thanks. I havent been able to figure out how to record audio only with OBS, as that is all I want, but ive made a really small video, 320x240 at low bitrate to make that as small as possible....
ОтветитьDon't forget to reenable dislikes on this video! This is a helpful and useful tutorial, but I almost clicked off because I saw dislikes were still disabled on this one and figured it was a dud.
ОтветитьGreat vid! this is so helpful
ОтветитьWhat if I want to monitor my mic so I can hear how I sound while recording?
When I choose monitor only (mute output) or monitor and output, both gives me the same results, it get mixed with Desktop Audio and I can't edit them separately , so I get 2 audio tracks, Desktop Audio+Mic and Microphone itself.
Is there any possibility to separate desktop audio and microphone, while monitoring microphone and to not get mixed with desktop audio?
its not routing correctly through it all on my end
ОтветитьAnyone gets Soundhandler instead of track names?
ОтветитьGreat tutorial! However; I'snt channel 1 reserved for streaming? and unchecking these boxes are going to lose audio channels if the person doing this tutorial is doing it to stream? For this reason, I left everything on channel 1 checked. then started from channel 2 designating my channels.
ОтветитьDiscord doesn't seem to go through VM at all, still going thru Cable (as my default audio device), i have changed it in discord and everything. What am I missing?
ОтветитьThanks man!
ОтветитьThank you for your tutorial. I followed all the steps for 3 tracks, but I can’t get an output from discord, either ‘listening’ through my speakers or the desktop audio 2 in OBS. Additionally, I tested the voicemeeter device in sound settings and get an output on both obs and my speakers, so I have a feeling it’s a problem with discord but I feel like I’m going in circles trying to figure it out. Any ideas? Thank you in advance
Ответитьbruh i forgot about the advanced settings so i was just sitting there wondering why i dont got more options xD
ОтветитьI cannot get my voice audio to separate from the game audio when I go back to listen to my recorded gameplay
ОтветитьMy issue is I try streaming Fortnite and just want to caputure the in game audio only no mic or other people talking on voice chat. I do not use discord just the game voice chat. It streams people talking and only works if i turn voice chat off but then I cant talk to my friends while I play. The main reason why i want only in game audio is because random ppl join sometimes. Is this possible to do on OBS and do you know how?
ОтветитьThanks💜💜
ОтветитьThank you so much sometimes my friends have awful background noise and it ruins the mood for recording but now i can lower them in the audio tracks yay
ОтветитьDidn't work for me. Also, you never want to record in MP4 because the file sizes are huge and if your recording crashes or your power goes out, byebye everything you just recorded. You can do the track thing with MKV.
ОтветитьThanks now I can record my terraria gameplay with my friend
Ответитьthe problem with this setup is you use the pc you play games for obs ,from 1 gpu you use obs and playing game the same time gpu on fire soz i don't have 3080 rtx
ОтветитьThank you so much. Great video!
Ответитьso i did this and now my obs records videos that my pc can't watch or my editing software can't edit. and also my audio didn't even record properly. i am about to jump off a god damn tree i am going insane. everything is all ruined
ОтветитьHow do u uninstall it
ОтветитьI did everything exactly as it was done in this video, but now, my audio quality in the recording doesn't match what i'm hearing at all, and in my recording (no matter what program i use) both my own mic and discord has no audio at all. This is terrible and i don't know how to fix it.
Edit: I tried recording with mkv and now, the desktop audio sounds fine, but mic and discord is still gone.
Then tried remuxing to MP4, and that made the mic work just fine, but then Desktop and discord audio is gone.
Edit#2: I have figured out what the issue is but not how to fix it. When recording it actually does record all the things, but when viewing the recording either by itself or in post-production, everything else is turned down by a ton, for no apparent reason. AND it is completely random which part is in focus, since my windows video display app, and my editing program display two different sections.
So I followed the steps as close as possible yet after setting everything up CABLE Input (The Device I'm using for desktop audio) Still picks up discord audio as well as Voicemeeter, even though I have only voicemeeter set for discord. Any idea on how to fix this?
ОтветитьNOW DO THE SAME TRICK WITH DUAL PC SETUP CHOP CHOP MAKE THE MAGIC HAPPEND
ОтветитьDiscord for me records to both audio tracks, how do I fix dis :(
ОтветитьThe one thing that is always failed to mention or not stressed enough, is that Windows Media Player can only playback track one. You will only be able to hear all the tracks once you import to an editing software (Premier), or specific software that can play all tracks at once. VLC can playback all the tracks (or so I'm told) but Windows Media Player cannot. If you are setting up multiple track recording, do not use Windows Media Player to test the recorded audio.
ОтветитьHello! I am still having trouble splitting up my audio tracks. When I have my audio sources assigned to separate tracks, I cant hear them both in the recording, and neither can my stream. I have to have everything on the same track, regardless of if i am recording separate tracks or not. Premiere will see the separated tracks however, so I know it is actually recording them separated, they just don't output separated. Help?
Ответитьmy headset has two audio outputs designed for chat and game.
