The Original WAGO 221 Connector & The Green WAGO 221 Connector

Our WAGO Green 221 connector was launched last year, but what is the difference from our Orange WAGO 221? The plastic used!

💚 At least 27% of the PBT in the WAGO Green Range consists of post-consumer PET bottles. They are taken from the waste stream and recycled.

💚 Up to 77% of the PC in the WAGO Green Range are made of biocircular material. These are residues from industry and households, such as tall oil, waste fat and residues from the production of edible oils.

💚 This means that two-thirds of the total plastic in the WAGO Green Range is made of more sustainable materials compared to the WAGO 221 series connection clamp.

And what about quality? In terms of quality, the WAGO Green Range Series 221 is in no way inferior to the classic. Both connecting terminals have the same technical characteristics and certifications. This makes them suitable for the same use cases.
