How’s the stability of android auto been?

Can you drop the pin on google maps to drive to it?
Can you record whatsupp voice messages and send?

What launcher does that use?

Is andrioid auto able to use google map when there is no reciption? For example, when I driving into a national park and there is no receiption, is google map still working? If not, is there a way to use the google map when there is no reciption? Please let me know, thank you.

Why does everyone wave their hands in front of the radio?

While Maps is a superior app, I find Waze's traffic and road warnings invaluable, particularly the road hazards. Maybe since they are now one team they can incorporate this feature.

I am now pretty sure I have it. I turned "widgets" on .. no idea what that does, but I will try a few things as right now it look pretty much like it did before .. but the icons did move to the bottom a couple weeks ago.
